I wish Paul Pierce never did tv and just stayed out of the limelight after retirement. He was already very underrated as a player, but then he became unlikable, too.

Grew up watching The Truth. He was the only reason those Celtics teams were any good. Great player. Top 15 easy during his prime. Can make a good argument for top 10.

Meh...PP can be unlikeable all he wants. Still love the Cap.

It's a shame most people didn't get to appreciate Pierce from 2000-2004. Those were my favorite days. Also 06 was great.

Early 2000s PP is what made me come to love basketball. I don't care if the whole world hates him. He'll always be my favorite athlete of all time. Also a reason why I refuse to watch him commentate or talk as an analyst :lol:

I just saw Paul Pierce at a grocery store in Calabasas, CA.

We were about 10 feet apart. Cool thing is I was wearing my Celtics cap. I looked at him and pointed to my cap. He waved. We were both wearing masks so we didn’t really talk. Just waved to each other from 10 feet apart.

That's awesome. Idk about going to the grocery store, I'm staying at home for a few months. But cool story nonetheless.

How in the world is Paul Pierce the most unlikeable Analyst when being compared to Jalen rose. It baffles me how someone so inarticulate and unaware is on tv soo much. Paul pierce is the man and continues being the man. P

When I first started watching Paul in 2005 he was pretty athletic, I legit don't understand the narrative that he is a skilled, clutch player. I remember that game against the Spurs he was a killer and pretty athletic.
