Name some Professional Sports Relatives

Post#1 » by Parliament10 » Thu Mar 26, 2020 2:46 am

Name some Professional Sports Relatives.
Like 2nd Generation Athletes. No matter the Pro Sports. They can be in different Sports, and/or Siblings.

Kobe Bryant -- His Father is Joe Bryant, who played for the Sixers, Clippers and Rockets.
Joe also played abroad and coached both in the U.S. and abroad.

Joakim Noah's (Basketball) Father is Yannick Noah, Tennis Pro.
And his Father was Zacharie Noah, Pro Soccer Player.

Griffey (baseball)

Barry (basketball)

Larkin (baseball and basketball)

Curry (basketball)

Thompson (basketball)

Horford (basketball)

I think Manny Mota in baseball had a son who played too. Perhaps one of the Alou brothers as well?

Norton (boxing and football)

Slater (football)

Andre Agassi's father was, I think, a wrestler

Jaylen's dad is a pretty mediocre boxer with a bogus heavyweight "championship". Still, I would NOT want to be punched by the guy. :) And of course Kyrie and Jayson had dads who played pro ball at not the highest level.

And ... how could I forget the Sabonis family?

Try to name the actual people, by names.

Sorry. I don't feel like bothering. Happy to stay out of your thread, however.

A few obvious current/recent ones (bball only)

Three Plumlee brothers (Mason, Miles, Marshall) and Holiday brothers (Jrue, Justin, Aaron) and
Glenn Robinson and Glenn Robinson III (father, son)
Giannis, Thanasis, Kostas (brothers)
Larry Nance Jr. and his dad (same name)
Morris brothers
Wendell Carter Jr. and his dad (overseas)
Jaren Jackson Jr. and his dad (NBA)
Trae Young’s dad Rayford played overseas.
Ben Simmons and his dad Dave (Australia pro ball)

Steven Adams (sister Valerie Olympic gold shot-putter, two brothers New Zealand pro b-ball Warren and Ralph). To be fair, Steven’s dad Sid (6’11) had 18 children with five different women...
