I read a rumor on the Internet that my very long time board colleague & fellow ‘getting up there in dog years” (although I am MUCH better looking & look/act/feel 10-15 years younger than I am & can still throw a football on a line 40-45 yards & still shoot a basketball very well [If no one is guarding me - LOL]) has been doing what this COVID article above recommends for DECADES - for reasons totally unrelated to communicable diseases.
Right, Fencer my friend? :D

This video talks about results in a study conducted in a Spanish hospital using vitamin D to treat patients who had been admitted with COVID-19. I have no idea who this doctor is, but this is interesting.

Nope. Wouldn't want to unnecessarily deprive women of the pleasure of looking at me.

Wearing masks may not just be for the others' protection—it may be helping give immunity to the wearers.

If there is any doubt masks, social distancing and hand washing work, the lack of a flu outbreak in Southern Hemisphere in their winter is huge. Also look at ridiculously low flu rates in Asian countries where people wear masks over last 5 years.

Meanwhile, we are on pace to have over a million cases for month of September and another 14,000 deaths - numbers which would rank 3 and 9 in the world....for the WHOLE PANDEMIC!

$7 billion in taxpayer funds, in good hands.

When asked by CBS News what the issues were with the language on airborne transmission, CDC spokesman Tom Skinner said, "It's poorly written. The bottom line is aerosol transmission possible but not the main way that spreads."

The CDC's guidance also explains that the closer and longer a person with COVID-19 is with others, the higher the risk of spreading the virus to those people.

On Friday, the CDC also updated its testing guidance after nearly a month of controversy over the role of political interference from officials at the Department of Health and Human Services overriding the CDC's scientists. In late August, the CDC's website was quietly revised to say that people who had been exposed to someone with coronavirus but weren't showing symptoms might not need testing. That caused an uproar among medical experts because asymptomatic people can easily spread the virus to others.

I finally found somebody who's benefitting from the pandemic, other than online retailers such as Amazon.

Our local liquor store says business is up 50%, presumably because people are going out much less to bars and restaurants.

Washington cannabis stores are raking in cash as well.

Shams venturing beyond basketball now?
Read on Twitter

How can he even type that fast? 15 seconds apart?

EDIT: OK, it could be anywhere between 15 to 74 seconds. Possible with predictive text.

Cave called Trump getting the positive result from his source before anyone else did. Cave's sources have been dead on all year in politics for everything lol.

We all chat in the current affairs forum.

Imagine you are a head coach and your best player is Lebron James. Imagine if during the finals some old bastard complains that Lebron James can’t make free throws like they could in his day. So you replace him in the lineup for game 7 with Nathan Hoover a 93% free throw shooter who has never played in an NBA game before.

That is essentially what Trump did when he ditched Fauci and promoted Scott Atlas. Scott Atlas has committed unspeakable malpractice for the country as a whole and now there is a 10-33% chance the president will die from Coronavirus.

It's probably a hoax, as I said on the current affairs forum. I bet he "recovers" in a few days, brags about how tough he is and that he was right all along that covid is no big deal, not much worse than a cold. Perfect way to deflect from his poor debate performance and his disaster of a public health policy. It's also the perfect hoax because no one can prove that he never had it.
