Ok... Hate away as usual. I still love the guy. I will always want him back in Celtic GREEN. It makes me sick that he is still out there dishing out tasty dimes not in Celtics Green.

I realize we have Walker. I like Smart even more. So why do I want Rondo back? Because he was the most fun player I have ever watched and we won a title with him.

So this post is a bit tong and cheek, but it can also be serious if you want.

Please no Doxing and death threats this time around.

I do have evidence. Remember the 2003 season? Ok I'm guessing at the year but the one where Walker came baqck. Remember how fun that was? He was number 88 for a minute. Remember that? But Walker sucked and Rondo is the GOAT! so that times a million! I rest my case.

You're guessing wrong. Ainge took over the summer of 2003, which is to say that his first draft was the famous LeBron/Wade/Melo/Bosh one. By the way -- despite his short time on the job, he did pretty well in the draft, in that his second pick of Kendrick Perkins would have been a good choice at the Celtics' original highest draft slot.

He is still one of my favorites always will be.
If we have him next year as our 2nd or 3rd I'd love it.

Rondo would be an upgrade over Wanamaker. I like DJ Augustin as a veteran backup if we go a minimum salary route but Rondo fits as well.
