Good win after losing the momentum.

Great bounce back game for Tatum.

Going with Brown for VC. He was great in the 2nd half. Tatum was close 2nd.

That's almost 75% from 3.

That will never be a regular thing. For anyone. Ever.

71.42%. 60% as a team. You're right. Unlikely to happen again.

It would have been nice to finish it off easier, but that was a good win.

The Blazers record is irrelevant. That was a long time ago with a decimated team. Their record is in no way an indication of the type of team we played today.

You're right, but that's why it's such an outrage that they're even here. They should be at home watching the Grizzlies play.

I disagree, but not passionate about it or anything.

The Grizzlies had a daunting end of season schedule. There was a reason a lot of "math" people didn't favor them to make the playoffs even with their significant lead. The Grizzlies have a better opportunity to make the playoffs in this scenario then they did in the initial season.

Kemba looks so good. He looks like late last season Kemba when he was trying to drag the Hornets to the playoffs.

We needed a bar fight type of game and we got it. Happy with how the lads reacted.

Very encouraged by Hayward, Kemba, Tatum and Brown. I got Hayward as our best player this game as he was able to make every clutch FT(6 of 10 for 22 pts, 8 boards, 3 assists and 1 steal).
Good assessment:

Brown’s really starting to excite me on his potential. His handles are getting better each game & looks like he’s starting to get a bit more responsibility on being allowed to create his own shot now too.
People love to hype up Siakam but I think people are soon going to acknowledge Brown is better.

It's a wash between the Js and Hay. It's either steady winning performace or clutch shooting.

One thing I'd say now that Brown is getting all this ackowledgment is that he was really horrible this game with this vision. He misses passes 5 yeard old kids can see. It's possible he is just really short on BBall IQ but with his smarts off-the-court and his amazing work ethic there's no excuse for him and more importanly the Celtics training staff to press him a lot in this area.

It's still not late to get him on the right track but the drive-and-dish instincts is something that every player that started playing as a kid has and Brown has an immense lack of it.
Robert Horry is better than MJ, because everybody knows that 7>6.

I don't think Jaylen misses passes so much as he hasn't been looking for them. Not that his vision is top notch per se, but most of the time he touches the ball he's been looking to score initially. He might regroup and then look to move the ball if there's nothing there, but he is initially not even thinking about passing the ball.

Through the end of January, he was averaging more than two assists per game. February, 1.3 assists, and two assists in two games so far in the bubble. His usage hasn't declined, it just seems he's been anxious to get his ever since Tatum blew up.

i do think that's a bad habbit though. You can not lock an end point when you receive the ball. Both Walker and Hayward just flow with what their drives generate. They are not locked at "scoring". You shouldn't be looking for passes.

The C's are now 13 - 0 when Jaylen scores 25 points or more this season.
Tatum was the better first half player, but Brown was the better player for the entire game. Having both of these young guys on the same team really is quite amazing.
I don't think any player in the league proves that stats aren't everything more than Smart. You look at his numbers and think "Wow, what a pretty mediocre game he played" You watch the actual game and you think "Wow! what an amazing game he played"
I also think that Theis might be the most disrespected player in the league in the eyes of the refs. Did he do something that made them all universally hate him? Call after call seems to go against him, even when replay shows that they shouldn't.
We really need to find another bench scorer. Sure we have some good games out of them, but besides Smart and Kanter (who are more like delayed starters), our bench is just so stinking inconsistent.
Love seeing Kemba gettin his minutes back, but I did see quite a few really ugly passes from him this game (especially in the 4th, when he just threw the ball away a few times). Hopefully as he gets more minutes these kinds of ugly plays will go away.

nice win, jaylen came up huge in the biggest moments. good to see the team regroup after blowing that lead. this is going to help us a lot more in the playoffs than a 30 pt win.

I know we squandered a huge lead, and not for the first time, but that was so encouraging after the Bucks loss. Thought we played well as a team. Smarts defensive intensity was a great shot in the arm in the second and fourth, Tatum’s confidence came back, Hayward had a solid contribution (and looks more like himself pre-Spurs injury) and Jaylen...take a bow son. Clinical. He’s improved so much starting last season after the all star break, I think he knows he’s underrated and relishes it
