This - remember the opposing coach on a live mic during a playoff game (might have been Phil Jackson) telling his team during a timeout this very thing? “Don’t worry - they blow leads all the time.” One of the most frustrating things about Doc. That, and not being any good at set plays.

The Raptors are the two seed and the defending champs. And we were missing Hayward. Yet people expected for Toronto to just lay down in that series and go away.

Why do the Nuggets get the "don't underestimate them, they' really good" treatment against a team with Kawhi/PG/ton of depth while the Celtics should've disposed the Raptors in 5? And people are disappointed our series had to go 7 games.

Some cognitive dissonance going on with fans.

I am expecting the Heat-Celtics series to be a long barfight but if the Celtics get lucky (lucky because everything seems almost even between them sort of and the Heat are just dangerous right now), meeting the Lakers for the finals will be a must-watch.

It might be a long shot but beating Lebron and AD must be a fairytale ending for Boston considering the history these two put on the Celtics in the past. A lot of factors needed to be in place for this to happen but you just never know. Anything is possible.

For me personally the fact the series went to 7 did feel like we underachieved a bit. Mind you, maybe that makes us a little more battle hardened?

They should do a Mid-season Tournament, like the G-League does.
Do it out of the All-Star Break. Like 6 games, where you don't have to travel.

They'll all be there at the All-Stars anyway.

A series of 2-3 games sounds amazing, but that just introduces other competitive factors. Now you have to play every single team 2-3 games or just have seasons where you don't even play every team? If you want to play every team per season, you'd essentially just have one series against each so then you would sometimes play the Raptors in Toronto one year and then in Boston another? Sounds wack. I guess it all evens out over a full season, but sucks to have division and conference seeding determined by whether this year you got to play the Raptors in Toronto or Boston.

15-pt turnaround for the Nuggets in the 3rd. Gut check time. Down 8 in the 4th. Not sure what's up with them. 3rd straight game coughing up double-digit leads.

I had the Clippers winning it all (besides us lol).
