A— Hayward is gone. He’s not coming back. If I had to guess, its mutual. The sooner you accept that, the better you’ll feel about the eventual return we get for him [if anything].

B— Think of it as separate parts— Hayward is gone, we trade him for a TPE. We trade our picks to ATL for 6. We trade 6 and our TPE for Jrue. Is it a lot for Jrue? Probably. But he is an amazing defender and his on/off metrics are ridiculous.

C— we wouldn't trade Kemba this year. But I’d guess he could be gone next year, when half the league will have easy paths to max cap space, he’ll have two years remaining and some teams will be looking to make a splash. This would allow for us to keep Jrue.

D— Jrue/Marcus/Brown/Tatum is a **** legit playoff foursome. Thats a crew I’d fee very good about going to war with.

Atlanta is not going to trade 6 for 14, 26 and 30. Something else would have to go to Atlanta from somewhere

Atlanta is first looking to trade #6 for a player that can help them get to the playoffs, if they can't they will stay at #6 and make their selection. They aren't trading down for #14 and 2 very late picks. Last year the Hawks traded #8 and #17 and 2 2nds to move up 4 spots to #4. There is no way you can move up 8 spots to #6 with picks 26 and 30.
