I really wonder how this all ends. Best thing to do would be for Kyrie to just retire, but I don't think he'll voluntarily walk away from that huge contract.

If Kyrie walks away from 100 million plus all his endorsements that are surely contingent on his playing in the NBA, he's the GOAT. Will worship him forever.

I don’t know if that was a smart trade by the nets. What has harden ever won?

That doesn't make a lot of sense. Kyrie wasn't KD's 1st choice? I find that hard to believe. I can believe that he wouldn't be his 1st choice today, but saying he wasn't originally seems like revisionist history. There was a year of build up (at least). KD could have gone wherever he wanted and chose pretty much anybody he wanted from free agency. Unless he was just dead set on the New York area and Leonard wouldn't come?

I'm sure Irving and Harden will fix this...., but right now you can take non-stop wide open 3's against the Nets.
Win it for Al!!!

Wow so the Nets are intent on reliving that Pierce/Garnett trade. This is just an unbelievably bad trade for the Nets. Incredible deal for HOU. You can make the argument they are better now, with 4 unprotected 1st from a team that could easily implode in 1-2 years

How does Irving even manage to do that in such short span of time? So he's basically throwing temper tantrums like a 12 year old cause he doesn't feel "Important", that's what that is? Jesus, man.
Good assessment:

PLO wrote:Tatum played OK - took advantage of a few mismatches - decent on the defensive end. He is what we thought he was going into the season - a technically very proficient player operating close to his career ceiling as a rookie.

The only part of his game that's better than his handles is his ability to tank a locker room.

Surprised Houston took the nets deal over a Simmons based package. I’m not even the biggest Simmons fan but put him in a spread offense instead of playing with Embiid and see what happens.

Houston got a decent pack for Harden, but only for the picks. Getting Oladipo after dreaming with Simmons, Herro or Brown is just not enough. Dipo is likely leaving in the summer and the picks -being a load of them- are not excellent

Man, I should have known better than to give Kyrie the benefit of the doubt. I presumed his absence last week was related to the violence at the Capitol. Should have known it was about something more selfish.
