Damn Brogdon is just so good for a point guard. Solid and steady. Myles Turner is probably the best shot blocker this season. Definitely alters shots inside. Unlike our good for nothing fake bigs Theis and TT. Lol

Imagine that Boston could have actually had both players. Instead of Kemba for 185 Mil, Brogdon for 100?

M Turner for GH.

That could be a title right there.

I thought about that one as well. Well Ainge and Stevens loves their undersized guards and centers

Same, he made so much sense here. My post from
November 8th is looking possible, and you were even higher on him than me.

Also, Christian Wood is really **** good.

I genuinely believe he could eventually be a fringe all star, in the right situation.

Every team missed on Christian Wood, every year, multiple times a year, for like 5 years. From the draft, to his dominating in the g league, to immediately being good in the NBA in spot minutes, to getting starter minutes briefly and being great, then released again. Then he even gets less than he's worth in FA. I don't get how the Celtics were supposed to get him this past offseason, but obviously they should have been in on him like twenty times before that. Really have no idea what Milwaukee, New Orleans and Detroit are thinking; he must have been an absolute headcase pain in the ass or something?

We should have traded Milwaukee’s pick for wood at last years deadline.

Pretty sure Detroit would have taken the 30th pick for wood instead of losing him for nothing this summer too. Would have needed to make the deal with Detroit at draft time and then tell wood to be patient until we had the tpe. Tricky but possible.

To everyone here wanting/loving Christian Wood, I get where everyone's coming from, dude has been balling and is a great offensive center. That said, I don't love him on this team. He kinda sucks on D. Like his effort is fine but he's not very physical defending and often lacks awareness. If my center can't play good D, I just kinda don't care tbh but that's my view on team building (excepting Jokic/Towns level offensive centers).

Realistically, if Kemba can return to 90% peak Kemba and the Brown leap is real, we're a fringe contender right. Somewhere around the 4th best odds to win a title or smth I'd say. Christian Wood doesn't change that imo. Ideally I want a big wing to defend Giannis, Kawhi, Lebron etc.. A 6-8 or taller strong dude who can attack close outs and hit open 3's. But that's maybe the wrong thread here.

Anyway love Christian Wood as well but needs to get a lot better at defense to actually be good on this team imo.

looking around the NBA last night. Giannis, unless it was a misprint, actually went 1-10 from the FT ??? how is it possible for any player, let alone a back to ack MVP to do that??

Greatest regular season 2 way stat stuffer that has such a HUGE Achilles heal. SHOOTING. that is. Come playoffs, does anyone trust him to make Big baskets in crunch time in a tough series??

He's the kind of guy who if we didnt have Kemba returning then maybe, but with three better offensive options I dont think he's as valuable to the c's as other teams.

People should know he's not been good defensively. I haven't watched him much before this year but this year its been bad. Bigger guys bully him, smaller guys get around him. At center I would rather have a guy who is low usage, high defensive upside.

He's the kind of guy who if we didnt have Kemba returning then maybe, but with three better offensive options I dont think he's as valuable to the c's as other teams.

I admit, I mainly watch him on his highlights, which of course is geared towards his offensive plays. Wasn't aware of his defensive weaknesses. Though having him on offense would be such great compliment to the Js and Kemba. Come playoffs I can't watch Theis not being covered and not shooting/making 3s again. I guess I would prefer my center to be more capable on offense as we already have a center who can be good on defense with RW.

In that case, I would take Vuc. Vuc is average on D and good on offense, good passer as well, can shoot 3s, averages 10 boards for his career. Has this year and 2 more on his contract. Contract is kinda team friendly in the current market.
