Re: Bring that Bargain Bin Big to Boston
Of that list, I am taking the chance either that Mahinmi isn't toast, or that Dwight doesn't ruin our locker room. Or I'm taking Len, b/c he still has some upside, and at worst he rebounds well and comes up with some blocked shots.
I don't think Giles is out of our price range, and I'm not sure Noel is out of our price range.
I'm not sure Giles would help much, but at least he is friends with Tatum.
Not sure if playing Noel would be a better option than developing Timelrd, but he grew up a C's fan and is sort of like Timelord, but from the future by a few years.

Re: Bring that Bargain Bin Big to Boston
Dwight Howard is still a better rim protector than everyone else on that list and probably Theis and Robert Williams. Cousins, when healthy, is a better offensive player than all the bigs on the Celtics at the moment. I still voted other though. I have no clue why he doesn't get minutes and why he keeps getting traded but I really like Noah Vonleh's fit on the Celtics.

Noah irks me cause he has the the tools and for whatever reason doesn't focus.

I wanted Noah last summer. He looked decent on the Knicks, but yeah, didn't seem to do a heck of a lot this year. So...

I'd vet minimum boogie for a test drive, 75% of former boogie would be an upgrade. If his attitude becomes a problem you cut him.

Totally agree. If we turn things around and look at the Celtics as a destination from a center like DMC or Howard's point of view: We have a team better than most in the league and also are weak at the 5. If someone is asking "what's the best team that offers me a reasonable chance to start?" we might be it.

Tbh I later looked at Henson’s advanced stats and found him to be thoroughly average, so if that’s something we need them I’m on board — but it was too boring to post about so I just took the Hanson jokes in stride and went back to the draft thread because this draft is the balls and there’s no other reason why.

Of the players listed I would go with Alex Len. He has shown some flashes in the past. And the only one with real upside.
But is Atlanta doesn't offer the QA to Skal Labissière I would like to kick the tires there. He seems like a guy Stevens could coach up and has skills but lacks the bulk to bang. But they keep telling me the game is going away from bigs who bang.

I voted Dwight cuz he can hit a 3 ball now. Anyone else see that end of game deep 3 in game 6 where he hit all net? No? Are those crickets i hear chirping?

Can I become a Retired Mod without ever having to be a Moderator? Just go straight to retirement?

Kevin Seraphin just retired from professional basketball. Take him off your list for those of you who wanted him on the Cs next season.
