With our current roster, anyone know if we can now break the zone if every team we face just goes zone defense against us 80% of the time?

Knicks want Terry? I like that one. They could just trade him straight up though, right?

A switch in Time????

I think it should be a called the "Toilet Paper Exception"

The TPE never gets used anyways, Russillo has a good 10 minutes on his Podcast about this.

Wyc and his wife are partners with Michael Jordan (along with Jeannie Buss and the Bucks owner) in a tequila company (Cincoro) . Wyc will cut a deal with MJ for a TPE at the bare minimum.

Something that might make people even more mad at Ainge lol... Zach Lowe is speculating that the Celtics probably made a conscious choice between taking on Turner's contract (reported centerpiece in the Indy deal) and just paying Tristan Thompson the full MLE.

Toss it in the direction of the basket and hope Tristan Thompson gets the offensive board.

Gotta have guys that can hit shots, that's for sure. And a couple of guys that aren't afraid to drive the zone and make a play. Again, not to harp on a guy on his way out the door but...

That's Hayward playoff game log as a Celtic. We're really not replacing that much. As a Celtic, he topped 14 points only once. Those numbers are Teague level at a minimal cost. That just leaves getting 1 or 2 of Nesmith, Grant, Pritchard, Langford or even Edwards to show up. And I'm gonna take that bet. We drafted these kids for a reason. Time to put your big boy pants on and step up. You're getting paid to do it now.

If you can't keep up, don't step up.

could have all been payback for Pritchard screwing us at the last minute on PG.

Are you seriously referencing Hayward's playoff stats without context? Year 1 - injured (freak injury); Year 2 - recovering from injury / whack roster construction where everyone in the playoffs apart from probably Jaylen pooped the bed; Year 3 - injured (freak injury)

Hmmm....seeing as how Turner has spent plenty of time around Tatum, Walker, Smart and Brown....I wonder if those guys had input on the trade.
