Victory Cigar!!! BOS 116, WAS 107 (7-3)

Post#1 » by GoCeltics123 » Sat Jan 9, 2021 2:58 am

Sigh....this team always makes it harder than it should be. Win's a win though.

Very impressed with Tacko tonight. Theis not bad. Tatum and Brown closed but Brown was meh in the 4th. Smart sucked until the end but he made some big plays at the end. Pritchard was steady. Teague sucked.

Beal is amazing.

On to Miami part 2.

Giving it to Pritchard for giving a sh*t the entire time he was out.

A win is a win is a win. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

7-3 is pretty nice.

Should be Brown, but Tacko gets a storyline-VC.

BTW, Semi led the team at +23

Out best player was Jaylen, but I voted Tacko. He gave us 19 huge minutes tonight and played his ass off. +13 in those minutes as well. Great job by him.

I don't deserve a vote. I caught myself thinking multiple times that Brad should put Semi back in.

I thought the wizards were going to be much better than they were this year. Beal Is an absolute stud and I figured you  add Westbrook  then that's a pretty good team. Obviously Westbrook's a good player He's a triple-double machine but man his shooting is absolutely atrocious. I know they couldn't have kept Wall because he wanted out but the team could have been better with him.

Regardless Celtics played well for three quarters. Not crazy about how close the game got but  considering they are down like five rotation guys It's just impressive they won.

Going to be a tough game on Sunday. Heat are still a good team and the Celtics are still short-handed.

Brown had the best overall game.

Tatum was bigger in the 4th.

Overall Jaylen had the better game, so he gets my vote.

Could go Brown, Tatum or even Tacko tonight. I think I'll go with plus/minus as the tiebreaker. Brown was +21 an Tatum was -6.

Jaylen played amazing in the first half, horrible in the second. Tatum played great in the first quarter, but was mostly crap the rest of the game.

I usually don’t do novelty VC votes, but Tacko changed the game when he was in there, so I vote for him.

This game was a good lesson for the Jays, can’t afford to go into **** around mode against any team.

Voted for Tacko because I'm not really happy with anyone else.

The inability to hold onto big leads is extremely frustrating.

Tatum, but no one really stood out to me.

Good win while shorthanded, though.

Tacko with the narrative pick. The only guys with strong +/- were Jaylen, Semi and Tacko. The guy Tacko backed up as #5 or so on the depth chart had negative +/-.

If only there was a way my PVR would let me delete portions of the game. Lol.

No VCs for anyone tonight.

Four straight wins! Can Tatum and Brown share a VC? 59 points combined, wow.

Despite the winning streak, I'm not too happy with any of the wins we had. All of them seemed like close calls, where we almost gave the game away after playing well for most of the game. Even the Raptors win was marred by Tatum and Brown being subbed back in during garbage time.

Anyway, it's feels nice to be 7-3. Where's that Sixers fan who keeps crashing our game threads and saying we'll be an 8th seed? Lol.

Celtics desperately needed Jaylen's 13 rebounds tonight. 27 points was nice, but with three Bigs in quarantine, he kept Washington off the offensive glass.

Nice to see Brown with 5 assists.

It was fun watching Tacko. It was not fun watching most of the team take forced shots and make bad passes.
