Another poster pointed it out, it’s just everyone expects him to be elite, so him putting up great games is just what he’s supposed to be doing. Doncic is a fair bit overrated a this point. I like the kid, but he's shooting .450 from the field, .230 from 3, averages about 5 TOs and can't play a lick of defense.

wow, I thought I was alone with this.
I still feel Tatum has a ton more ceiling to grow, while baby boy Doncic is much closer to his ceiling.

It is somewhat funny; Tatum seems unstoppable one week, so Covid be like "well, guess I'll just stop you (well, whole team really) from playing next week".
