Don't throw hate my way just a prediction. Have a feeling Jaylen Brown is going to make it and Jayson Tatum just misses. I believe both should make the all-star team but just getting bad vibes.

Jayson could suffer from people's expectations that he is not doing what they expect. Jaylen is performing better than what some expected. The two of them are all-stars and having almost identical years. Going to be interesting to see how this plays out.

IMO, Tatum is a lock because the forwards suck for the most part. Also because it’s coaches picking, the same coaches who build their game plan around slowing Tatum down.
I think Jaylen makes it too though, will come down to him versus Simmons, and I think he will get the nod.

They should both get snubbed, then watch them go rage mode on the league. Mid range jumpers to the death.

Coaches heavily use record for criteria. Maybe they give leeway this season due to all the circumstances. Because of this, they'll give Simmons and Sabonis the nod.
Harden is too undeniable as a talent to leave off. They did leave off Butler that one rebellious season.
Would be weird to leave off Middleton as he's having a better season than last year.
Now comes the tough questions. Do the Raptors get an all star? They were in the playoff hunt as ballots were sent out. Do the Celtics get two despite their record? A lot of media have both Jays in because of their overwhleming talents.
You have a bunch of guys in Randle, LaVine, Hayward, Bam, and Trae who all have cases and their teams are only <2 games back from the Celtics.

I don't want them to play in it as they probably need the rest.
But I bet they want to be announced as All-Stars for their bonuses, especially Brown in his contract.

If they don't both make I see JT getting in but not JB. The coaches understand who is first on the Celtics scouting report. If they didn't think JT was an all star they wouldn't be constantly double and triple teaming him.

They both can use the rest from not going.
I want Jaylen to go anyway. He should have the experience and not feel he's being held back from it by having Jayson as a teammate. Also, he could use some tampering opportunities, something I suspect the respect he gets as a man could make him very good at.

Honestly I do feel Tatum could use a little humbling experience, not making it wouldn’t be the worst thing to happen to the kid.

Both in. Congratulations. We got the nod for the resume. Now let's find an excuse to not participate and risk injuries. There shouldn't be a game this season either way.
