I liked the suggestion of "The entire board debates Fierce1 at length" Trade Thread

I think Raef Lafrentz would really round out this roster.

It's funny that you mentioned LaFrentz because this season really reminds me of that 2004-05 season.

I'd do Brown for Beal. Mainly because Beal can carry an offense night in and night out. I haven't seen that from Brown or Tatum (he's closer) I think that 1/1a could be dynamic. The key is getting rid of Kemba

What if the Wizards propose a trade that has Boston getting Beal and Westbrook and Washington getting Kemba, Brown, and TT.

Would you guys do that trade?

The question for me is whether we lose on the D end if you switch out Brown for Beal. Brown has improved greatly on the offensive end this year, but is not as consistent as Beal is night in and night out.

As a guy who lives in DC I'd be thrilled to have Brown on the Wiz so I can keep watching him grow here. He'd have a big role on the Wiz.

I agree with you in theory. Only issue is Brown has taken a step back on defense this year IMO

I think you'd have to think long and hard about that one. If they hadn't traded Wall already I'd say that you 100% do Beal/Wall for Kemba/Brown/TT. Westbrook has been playing better lately, but its spotty and he would drive Coach crazy

And the that's the reason why the Wizards will want to do that trade.

Saves the Wizards money too!

Even if it gets us Bradley Beal and the Celts will not have to give the Wizards 1st round picks?

Easy yes for me personally. Beal is much better than Brown. Westbrook is starting to look like his old self recently and is better than Kemba on everything except the 3. Addresses a couple of needs too with his ability to create for others and rebounding. A bit more pricey than Kemba but that's a small cost for pairing Beal with Tatum. Freeing up minutes for Timelord is just icing on the cake.

I’d also rather go into 2023 free agency with a max space and beal and Tatum

Absolute travesty we didn't go with Westy's suggestion.

It just would never be offered. Washington won't water down their Beal return by attaching Westbrook's bad money. They'll get every red cent they can for him, and worry about Westbrook later, as his contract gets shorter.
