Jaylen padding stats I see. His awful defense a major reason for this loss. His fans will make excuses for him pointing to useless counting stats though...guaranteed

Bruh... Jazz aren't the measuring stick. They will fold against Lakers/Clippers.

The jazz are so much better than us.

We can’t beat those guys at all. Look at the 3 point line.

So that' probably 5 games minimal the Celtics could have won if Kemba didn't suck.

No double bigs was terrific. Marcus was a mess on O. Tatum needs to watch some tape from Mitchell on how to take over in crunch time.

I like how we have played out of the gate despite the 1-2 post ASB. But there's still an ingredient missing. Like a recipe without salt, we just aren't fitting well.

I love Rob. I also love Daniel. They combined for 29 and 20 in their 48 minutes. Legit cannot ask for more from a center pairing.

That offensive foul on Rob was Fugged. Completely changed the crunch time.

We will be a tough out in the playoffs. But Ainge needs a move or two to get these guys help.

Jazz are a good example of how you build a roster.

Ainge should learn a thing or two with tem

I appreciate the fighting spirit the C's displayed down the stretch though. They got screwed by some terrible calls (Tatum charge on a fast break, calling a foul on the Time Lord seal), and Smart just couldn't hit that open three to tie the game.

Once again, someone out of our big three is left out in the cold shooting-wise, Kemba this time. Something really needs to change.

Yep, we haven't had a game yet where all three have clicked. At least not against a good team.

Other option is a stretch big to open the paint for our slashers.

I personally think the Celtics need both. Celtics won’t reach their peak until Kemba is gone

You might have a point there.
Kemba is not scoring like he used to.

Donovan Mitchell the last 5 minutes of close games has a 38% TS, 30% in the last 3 minutes

Tatum in the last 5 minutes of close games has a 62% TS, and 65% in the last 3 minutes.

People really expect Tatum to score every clutch basket like he’s prime Jordan at his age. There’s a lot of stars out there who are way less efficient than JT in the closing minutes. Everyone else on the Celtics is a different story

It’s crazy, he’s been awesome in crunch time this season. It’s not his fault Kemba has something like a 35% TS in the clutch, it’s not his fault Jaylen has a 50% TS in the clutch.

I think Kemba/Jaylen will improve as the year goes on, but they struggle getting their shots off against keyed in defenses late in close games.

Would have liked to win these games vs Brooklyn and Utah but we played well in both to better teams

Clarkson scores 18 a game in 25 minutes. If any bench player took his shots on the Celtics they'd score 10 because they have no talent.

If clarkson were on this team, he'd be taking midrange trash shots all game long or he'd get frozen out of the offense by the three-headed monster of Tatum/Brown/Walker.

The piece that isn't fitting is that Kemba is playing like a scrub. If he was pretty good you could have some optimism. He's simply been bad far more than he's been good.
