Would you leave your job if a better one lined up that you had long thought to be your dream job? Also you get paid more and live close to where your family is. Also you don't have to work as hard or as long. Also you are the man and don't have to cater to people who make 5x what you make.

IDK man. Most guys only go back to college when the NBA won't have them anymore. Or they're like the 17th assistant and get a HC opportunity.

That's a good take. Expectations will be tremendous.
Hoosiers dropping their pants on Twitter. He's got to deliver

IU has only been top-25 ranked end of season 3 times in the last 20 seasons, I dunno if they should have the same expectations as Michigan Football.

Indiana Basketball was Michigan Football.
Imagine how much their fans want back in.
Kind of a lot like us.

Yeah everyone is different and has different priorities in what they want out of their life. I was under the impression that IU was Stevens' dream job. And there are plenty of reasons to prioritize the IU job over the Celtics job if this is at all real. I can't pretend to know what goes through Stevens' head, though.

Id leave if I was Stevens, the Celtics dont stand a chance of winning jack **** with Ainge as a GM, he'd get paid more, doesnt have to travel as much and gets to stay close to his family.

No brainer, but he's not going to we're gonna get confirmation today before the Sac game.

Rondoooooooooo

My favorite player of all time. Still don’t think he gets the respect he deserves for being one of a handful of true geniuses of the sport in his era.

Don’t know if he should do a NBA head coaching job before doing a few years as an assistant, but one day I hope he’s a great coach.

Would be another L for Danny Ainge if it happens. Everyone is frustrated while Ainge is napping all season

Recruiting

Stevens makes $6 mil. Indiana ain’t lying him 6 mil. And, recruiting. Nba jobs are gold. Why you give up the Celtics with Tatum and brown signed long term? He can take the Indiana job at any time. Also, his wife likes Boston, right? Kids would be crushed.

Whichever coach shows up to the interview with a **** MIDRANGE JUMPERS tshirt.

Becky Hammon would work. Juwan ain’t leaving Michigan.

Finally the Celtics can draft Sekou Doumbouya. Or Chuma Okeke, NAW, Goga Bitadze, or Luka Samanic.

Now the difference between those guys and romeo?

They play.
