Yikes, the Celtics guards are weak defensively.

It amazes me that the 70's Celtics started Jo Jo White, who was 1 inch taller than Smart, and Don Chaney (Jalen Brown's size and All-Defensive); Havlicek and Paul Silas were also All-Defensive, and Cowens was League MVP, they won 68 games, and their backup guard (PG and SG) was 6' 4" Paul Westphal, a future 3X 1rst Team All-NBAer.

We were down 4 with less than a minute left in regulation and Smart scored a tough basket and made a sweet oop to tie it up.

Despite the loss, I think the offensive play tonight was generally good. There was ball movement and not as much malaise. There appeared to be more transition plays.

OTOH idk who that was wearing the Jeff Teague costume out there tonight but he was very good offensively.

Add this to our collection of trash Ls. This team can turn it around if they can find their juice on defense from the bubble. Seems like everyone is just helping off their man so much more.

The team is just not that good. I am not even surprised by losses or even disappointed by them anymore. Smart takes dumb shots and misses but at least he tries to win games. He is the least of the Celtic's problems.
