Lost in all this -- poor Wendell Carter. Kid has promise and is now going to a team that was bad even BEFORE trading away all their decent player.

You have been to the Conference Finals 3 of the last 4 years.

Come on man...is that really what the end goal is? To make it to the ECF and get clowned by teams with more cohesion than you? This whole three ECFs in 4 years is like 'More days in first place' nonsense. We are still MILES away from true contention.

No but you can't have it both ways. If your in the Conference Finals your not rebuilding. If you one of the last 4 teams alive your are a true contender. When your doing it with 19 year olds you need to chill. James was 27 and Jordan was 28 years old when they won their first championship. Be real.

If this team were in the West, they are second round fodder...So an ECF run is not as much as you think it is.

Am I crazy for thinking Fournier is better than Gordon?

Well it looks like its straight Fournier into the trade exception for two seconds. Which means we paid two seconds for the trade exception, then two seconds to use it.

So 4 seconds for 1/2 a season of Fournier.

I would prefer to keep Theis, Trade Thompson.

I prefer the other way around. With Theis around, Brad will never be forced to fully embrace the rise of the Timelord. Theis would be easier to move too and would likely net a better return.

Fournier will be really good here, a legitimate knockdown shooter on high volume.

Good 1st move. Let's see what else happens. Fournier is a legit scorer.

Just terrible, if this is the only move.

Um, anyone mention we now have 16 players on our roster? so yeah, something is going to happen beyond this. Even if it's releasing Green.

Seems like a high character guy too. I have more confidence in him resigning here than a brat like Gordon.

I have a weird feeling that Kemba will get dealt today.
