I don't want to jinx it, but I can't remember when the Celtics made a West coast swing-- even a short one--and won every game. That is doable this week, especially if they remember how they played in the 4th quarter against Denver.

Portland seems like they are much better offensively than defensively. Could be a shootout.

Portland ranks 26th in the NBA in both opponents FG% and opponents points per game.

They don't have any legit shut down defenders on the perimeter. Lillard 6'2, Mccollum 6'3 and Powell 6'4. We can shoot over the top of these smaller guys and also attack the paint.

Assuming that between Brown/Tatum, they put Covington on one of them and Powell on the other....which ever J has Powell on him has a size advantage, so can easily shoot over the top and take Powell inside. Whichever J has Covington on him has a quickness advantage. Covington is a good defender and is strong but he's more of a natural 4 man, bigger guy but definitely not nearly as quick as either J.

And we know that Carmelo can't defend a trash can.

Pretty safe bet that they will have Covington on Tatum lol, but it’s not as simple as having a speed advantage. The Blazers will do what everyone else does, and just throw a second defender at Tatum.

Hopefully he makes quick decisions, whether scoring or passing.

Normal Kemba should theoretically get whatever he wants in PnR against the Blazers. Dame or CJ defending onball and Enes/Nurkic dropping. But we really can't rely on Kemba right now. If they switch Jones or RoCo on Kemba, Tatum or Brown will have a mismatch.

Please defend as well and as long as we can. Don't let Dame go off. Heat did well trapping/doubling him and recovering/scrambling. Spo's zone D worked well too.

I go to a farmers market every Saturday and there's a Turkish Gozleme place that I go to and he saw me in Celtics gear and said "You know Enes is a family friend of mine? I watch him all the time when I can do you miss him on the Celtics?"
