I don't think it'll happen (I think the Lakers and nuggets are going to play in the first round) but imagine how disappointed the NBA will be if the two LA teams face off in the first round?

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is expected to miss back-to-back games against the LA Clippers and Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday and Friday to rest his injured right ankle, sources told ESPN.

It's possible James could miss more games, sources said, as he works through discomfort in a right ankle that kept him out six weeks until a brief two-game return that included home losses to Toronto and Sacramento over the weekend.

James and the Lakers will continue to evaluate the injury, and proceed cautiously as the Lakers ramp up for the postseason, sources said.

James has experienced some trouble making hard cuts and exploding since his return from six weeks on the sidelines with the injury, sources said.

Per Woj. This high-ankle sprain sounds like it sucks for LeBron

Lakers better make the real playoffs. You know if they lose in the play-in games and end up in the lottery you know they'll move up somehow and get Cade to pair with AD post LeBron.

Luckily they traded their pick in the AD swap. If it goes top-7, it conveys to New Orleans. So here is hoping for some of that same luck that they got them the fourth pick in 2019.

LeBron's a faker and so full of **** half the time I'm not buying he's actually hurt. I think the Lakers just want to give him more rest.

I'm sure he's definitely hurt. No way the Lakers want to risk having to play in the play-in if they can just play LeBron and secure a better seed. He's got coasting down to a science, but this seems little too close for comfort for even him.

He's been healthy for a majority of his career. Time finally starting to catch up maybe?

Read on Twitter

This is tough. I'm going with Curry, CP, Doncic, Lillard, Mitchell, and PG.

I hope they start enforcing this 10 seconds per free throw attempt rule in the playoffs. Especially since he takes 20 a game.

I don't have Harden, only due to the injuries, I don't have Irving due to just leaving whenever he feels like

Curry
Doncic
Lillard
CP

all a given, imo.

Either Westbrook or Beal but not both
one of Brown, Mitchell, Lavine or George (how is george listed as a guard??) but not more than 1.

Booker - no
Young - no
Simmons - No

What they should do is give players 4 seconds at the line in which to make as many free throws as they can. It will add some excitement to free throws.

Remember (or maybe you don't depending on your age which I don't know) they used to count for Malone when he was at the line?

Someone get this man a contract and teach him how to flop.

Watch on YouTube

I sometimes think of this reddit post when I have to watch Embiid or Giannis saunter to the line.
