These pressers are always so formulaic, both the predictable questions and the canned answers. So yes, that comment about the assists was a "highlight" (along with Wyc saying he wanted to discuss the Nets' loss to the Bucks some more).

Wyc is such a fan. Pacifying yourself by the Nets going down in the next series isn't a good look for any of us--but hard to avoid.

Love the clips I've seen of Udoka's presser. The guy totally sounds like a leader, and it was also great to hear (from Udoka) that the players were ASKING him for accountability. Further proves that Brad was incapable of delivering it -- let's hope Ime can and will.

The jays have been talking about tough coaching for years. From JT saying Brad is an XOs coach while Coach K is a guy you wanna run through walls for or Brown saying how he was called out by a few coaches/players and it made him elevate his play. We can think it doesn't matter but the players think it does and they are the machine that is driving the car, what they think is most important in the NBA!

Now, whether that leads to a chip, we'll have to wait and see because chips are extremely hard to win, but I'm excited for the journey! 18 BEFORE I DIE!!!

It´s actually that shaky voice which tells you he´s got the emotion inside and will yell his message when needed. Plus, it was his introductory presser, with his new bosses and speaking to journalists. Give him a break

PLus, he seems the kind of person who is more comfortable talking to players than bosses, which is perfectly fine for me.

I'm sick of listening to Brad, just as I got tired of Doc before him. Hearing Ime this morning I thought, this voice will probably wear well on us, but like Brad he seems to lack the humor of Ainge. Or of Bird or McHale, for that matter: the tepid comments of the Logo have been the only vague flashes of wit we've seen from C's players in recent decades.

Ime is already pretty deft about not answering questions he doesn't want to answer--such as whether he'll keep any of Brad's assistants on his bench.

Everyone else that he didn't bother necessarily even naming even when specifically asked may be available...
