We had a chance last year but we choked. Poor coaching, no leadership, bunch of isos by Tatum and Kemba to finish games. The Hawks have a well balanced roster with good legit bigs and a bunch of shooters. Good coach as well

Kemba was playing hurt. Hayward missed most of the playoffs and when he came back he was no where near the player he was during the regular season. Add that to we probably had the worst bench in the league because Ainge sat on his ass during the trade deadline.

The Hawks area healthy and a loaded team.

I said Suns vs Bucks would be a good Finals. But I think Suns vs Hawks would be even better.

I wish we still had Crowder. He impacts winning.

Last night was the most fun I’ve had watching a player on another team since GS won their first title.

Trae is playing at such a level right now. It took Nash about 8 years to get there and Curry about 5 years. Like Luka Doncic, this guy is light years ahead of the curve. His off the back board pass to Collins was a play of the decade candidate. His crossover step back 3 that left Holiday tumbling 6 ft away allowing him a long dramatic pause before shooting was the stuff of legend. Trae is making a strong case that he is the best player in his draft right now. I expect Bucks to make adjustments but given that was game 1 at home, Bucks are in trouble. I just didn’t see that coming.

His game resembles that of Hayward. Haywrad when healthy is better, but Fournier can pass, run PnR, attack off the dribble and shoot. He's like Bogdanovic. IF we can get Fournier for 16 mils that's a steal, cause he can get a 17-20 ppg which would be a very decent 3rd option.

I agree. Plus the defense thing is way over blown. I can see him try hard on defense. He is no slouch. It’s not like all defense Smart has no defensive lapses himself. A full off season with the new coach, and more time with his teammAtes, will do wonders for him. I just don’t think we could get him at 16-17M, 20M will probably do it, but other teams can offer him a starting job, so i don’t like our chances.

He will start here for sure. Tatum will be a 4. We need a PG.

I'm on record multiple times saying he's 3x the player TT is. Was wondering why we didn't try to sign him to the full MLE or if we did try to bring him back.

Just what that organization needs, a wife-beater.

Jason Kidd isn't even that bad as a coach I bet. I think he was pretty important for Giannis' development early on at least, not sure if every coach would have made him the primary ballhandler that early. Meanwhile Carlisle hasn't been out of the first round once in a decade.

Yep. The Mavs are trying to put some ugly organizational stuff behind, and then Rick Carlisle floats Kidd's name on the way out. I can't think of any worse option.

It kind of started last season before the pandemic and right after NH made sports betting legal. I would drop my wife off for work and place the overs on Trae young point total. He did something unthinkable by actually winning me money. Good times. Go Hawks.

Seabrook?

How does that even work? I'm in the Portsmouth area and keep wanting to wander down there and place some bets.

Yeah I went in there a few times. But the app is what I use mostly. I’ll go drive and sit in the Home Depot parking lot on the border and place a few bets. If you see a guy on his phone in a jeep parked in the way back give a beep.

That is until Massachusetts gets their head out of their asses and legalizes it.

I love Trae. I don't care what the haters say haha. Kid is sick.

I was kinda jealous of the Hawks success if I'm being honest but I got over it and have been enjoying the Hawks a lot this postseason. They are a much better team than they get credit for, and a lot of fun.

Clippers got him so cheap from Lakers a few seasons back when they were clearing salary, maybe for a 2nd round pick

I want the suns to win the series but I wanted the clippers to win this game. I just want a long hard fought series as an NBA fan.

That Clippers team is hard AF. So impressed by their toughness. If they win next game, that'd be incredible.
