My God.

Id take Robinson over Fournier or Smart or that bunch of plyers any day of the week but i could be a bit myopic

Duncan Robinson actually got $90M, over 5 years.
He's sitting pretty.

I agree. Just didn't expect it. Nor did I see the Knicks having Kemba and Fornier together for $28 m per year.

Woooooow man. Kemba had such little value he had to be bought out. Brad thankfully pulled that trigger quick

Kemba and Fournier had some crazy good offensive numbers in limited minutes together when both were healthy. This could work out pretty good for NY if Kemba can stay healthy and they can figure out how to get minutes with a defensive minded coach.

Why would the Knicks want Kemba? Don't they have Derrick Rose already? Then again, the Knicks need offense badly.

D Rose probably plays his 6th man role. Kemba may be able to score at a better rate with NY since he won't be a 3rd scoring option like he was here.

BUT reason number 1, the NYKs have not had the respect from a organizational view in the NBA thanks to James Dolan. Bringing back NYC grown and raised legend goes along way to rebuilding that image.

I am sure that it will be new ground for him

On a side note, that team looks like it could be beaten with a decent fast break. LA better get some O2 tanks ready.

******* Lakers. Are you kidding me. They'll still need enough supporting cast to be healthy for the playoffs.

People can make fun of the lakers being old all they want but the only thing stopping them from winning it all this year is health.....and maybe the nets.

But that’s exactly the issue with being old. I’ll be curious to see if Russ can adapt his style to fit in. If he can obviously they’ve put themselves back into serious contention. But he has never been a great off the ball player. And his value drops in the playoffs when the game becomes half court oriented. If he keeps up his Oscar Robertson pace it’s going to be at the expense of a lot of other guys on that team, and I’m not sure how big a win that is. We’ll see, definitely an intriguing experiment.

Yes, them not being able to make it to the playoffs healthy enough is a serious concern but if they can manage it they are the favorites without question. In the west at least. I'm also curious to see if Russ can adapt. He has always been the number one or two on every team he has been on. If he buys in, he can be a very dangerous number 3. We'll see though.
