Langford isn't a future all star but neither is Danuel House. That's just a move for the sake of making a move.

Awful. First mistake by Brad.

:o :o :o

If this was at a bar, I'd ask you to step outside

L Kornet at minimum is a quality level 3rd string center talent IMO. I will go down believing this till my grave..

Hahaha let's go outside then . Ah well, I just hope we play better this year. I believe we all agree on that :)

Kornet was OK, we don't have any PT for him but he was not bad last year, if we trade Horford I don't mind him as a 4th big who can shoot the 3 at least.

I was actually disappointed in his shooting but surprised with yeah but surprised with his defense especially on the interior and he was a pretty good passer to talk is nacho to top that off not sure why people don't like him is for his 3rd string level

would this work if we sub Grant Williams instead of Langford for both teams??

Grant doesn't make enough or House make too much depending on how you look at it.

House helps more today. He gets the Celtics deeper into the playoffs.

100% agree. this dooms our season. might as well tank.

I thought we’d be shooting for the 3 seed. Now… lotto bound. :(

It’s hard to know what kind of handshakes are going on between the team office and the agents, but Luke seemed like a good egg, not a bad guy have in Maine, maybe he has a cup of tea in green if the injury bug strikes, or a mid season trade comes up.

Having said that, I wish Brad had gone after Giles just to see what he has. Either way, there’s not going to be minutes available, the team already has depth.

No he doesn't. I can think of quite a few players you might get for Langford who would help more: Luguentz Dort, Kenrich Williams, R.J. Hampton, Chuma Okeke, Sterling Brown, Jake Layman, Georges Niang. Terance Mann, Nemanja Bjelica.

I doubt Langford is a future all star. I don’t see anything special from him. Average handles, below average shooter. Frail body. He even doesn’t have the mentality to be one. A role player at best. Still, i won’t trade him for House. There a lot of players better than house that we can get for Romeo.

I cannot see a scenario where a langford for dort deal is accepted

lmao. I respond because you're horribly off. Jaylen moves off ball and into good spacing to get open. Both viable defenders (Rubio and Ingles) who were supposed to close out were good on ball defenders at the time. They got tangled with one another due to Larkin's dribble penetration. People are celebrating the play and yet here you are being sour because you have this weird grudge.

relax, pointing out Jaylen gets wide open looks more than other players isn't being sour. I'm genuinely curious when/if teams will stop letting it happen. He's clearly proven he's too good to leave wide open and should be more of a focus for defenses else he will beat them so when will he attract even half the attention Tatum gets? And if he does get more attention, will he rise to the occasion and overcome it? You guys get so sensitive over Jaylen.
You and other guys are really hilarious... Years ago Jayen scored because he was playing with Kyrie, Hayward, tatum and company. Two years ago he scored 20 because he was wide open playing with Kemba, Tatum and Hayward. Right now he scores because he playes with Tatum. I give you and advice Jaylen can scores even without Tatum on the floor. Dont you remember at Philly when he scored 42 last year?
So Klay is wide open because of Steph? AD is free because he playes with lebron? Stop, just stop...
You and other guys here have a sentiment about Jaylen and try to create a narrative confirming your feeling...

It probably isn't. Terance Mann is also a stretch. But both of those players are going to get paid in a year or two, whereas Langford probably isn't. Will OKC be willing to put out big bucks for Dort?

I'm going to guess that this year is probably make or break for Langford. Nesmith is under pressure to show something consistently too, but Romeo is on year 3 and has missed so many games over the last two years; on paper, this is a deep team so he's gotta find a role or he's probably gone next year.

Not that there's anything imminent, but Josh Richardson can now be aggregated with another player in a trade.

My bad. Richardson signed an extension and can't be traded this season.

Depends on when trade deadline date falls. Player who signs an extension can't be traded for six months IINM.

Cant see why. Perhaps a deal with picks traded.

I'm guessing that Stevens is hoarding his picks for Beal or Lavine. I don't see him making any deal that requires sending out a first rounder, even a highly protected one.
