What's your ideal starting lineup?

Post#1 » by NuckyPowell » Tue Oct 19, 2021 4:53 pm

I will put what I like best, and then what I think it'll actually be.

I like (assuming everyone's healthy):

Schroder
Brown
Tatum
Al
Rob

I think it'll actually be:

Smart
Brown
Tatum
Al
Rob

I think they'll at least try the double big lineup to start the season. If it works, great. If not, then decide among Romeo, Nesmith, and Richardson. I presently like Romeo better than both Nesmith and Richardson, but I suspect Ime would give Richardson the first crack at it.

I initially thought it should be Smart, Brown, Nesmith, Tatum and Horford. I think that Langford has earned Nesmith's spot even though Nesmith has played well.

I would go Smart, Langford, Brown, Tatum and Horford.

Not a fan of two bigs lineups in 2021-2022 NBA.

I'd rather Schröder comes off the bench, for two reasons: we need scoring in the second unit, and also he won't be here next year so let's get the ball rolling with our starting lineup of the next five years starting now.

This for me too - fine with either Nesmith or Langford but need to get them consistent minutes and they can play the 2011 Avery Bradley or 2016 Jaylen Brown role as the 5th spot-up shooter

I like Smart and Rob's energy off the bench so regardless of salaries id like:
Schroder
Brown
Langford
Tatum
Horford

Smart, Rob, and Nesmith checking in halfway through the first quarter and then playing the most crucial minutes of the game with Tatum and Brown.
I suspect Ime will have a lineup like this if everyone is available:
Smart
Brown
Tatum
Horford
Rob

Love this lineup, but won't even consider it since It has a power-ball chance to happen.

PP and Nesmith may not be "better" than there counter-players, But they FIT so much better. Most do not give enough value to the FIT of units especially with the Js

I want two starting units. One with Horford when size matters more, and the other with Nesmith when a more spread out attack is required.

Smart-Brown-Tatum-Horford-RW

or

Smart-Nesmith-Brown-Tatum-RW

MORE important than any of this is the closing units.

That I am still uncertain of.

So you're telling me we are losing then!
We go ahead and start a dude who avg 5.8 ppg and the most fouls in preseason. So much for earning your way 12 player scored more than he did and he got pulled from a game for complaining about a non foul. More b.s. 1st Ime mistake

Also how many people on this board put can't will in the starting lineup , none of us, I went to the dudes ig page to see if in fact he had fans and he literally getting crapped on in the comments. I can't wait till can't will isn't on our team. I'm completely flabbergasted by this player whom I wouldn't even sign to a two way gets the opening start, I'm pretty sure can't will has dirt on Stevens and Ime. Help me see the light of a pudgy talky bone head. Ugh
