1) Tatum just had one of the best all-around games of his career last night (scoring, defense, passing, rebounding) and this is what you say?
2) He's gone against Beal tons of times already when we've played the Wizards. It's never been an issue before

fallguy is 100% correct and I'm bummed we have to be subjected to B2B games of the Beal/Tatum bromance so early in the young season. Hopefully they can at least both stay out of Covid protocols this time around.

He will try to show out in the Beal game but hopefully like last time Beal continues to try and guard Tatum because he seriously cannot do that like at all.
Forgot to give Marcus his flowers for the last game he was fantastic in the second half defensively. Want to see him continue that and eat dinwiddie and Beal while not firing some of the gross 3s he has been.

Beal doesn't defend and doesn't fit the timeline of the J's.
But the Wizards are much better than they were last year. Their young forwards are healthy and they have Dinwiddie, Harrell and Kuzma as well.

The Wizards beat the Raptors by 15, who beat the Celtics by 32, so I guess that means the Celtics will lose by at least 40.
But seriously, the C's seem to have righted the ship, and I expect this to be a pretty good game, with the C's winning by less than 10.
I do hope to see more of Richardson and Jabari and Nesmith and Kanter and Pritchard. Hopefully not all at once. But all of those guys are too good to be sitting on the bench for the entire game.

So after the first week (and even with that disaster against the Raps), the duo of Tatum and Brown leads the NBA in net rating. +27 in 77 min (120 ORTG, 93 DRTG) (Outscoring opponents 201-155).
And the trio of Tatum, Brown and Rob is also #1 as far as trios go. +25.6 in 73 min (121.2 ORTG, 95.5 DRTG) (Outscoring opponents 189-149).
And Jaylen Brown (28.3 PPG) and Jayson Tatum (27.5 PPG) are currently the only duo who are both in the top ten for scoring in the NBA.
And Rob is leading the league in blocked shots. With Horford not too far behind him.
So take that for data! And Go C's!

I don't know about righted the ship. Too early to make any conclusions other than as usual they take lots of threes and need to hit more.Need a bigger sample size with AL to see the rotations..I don't think they have been all that good thus far.
