I'm not nearly as mad at the team as some of you guys are, but I'm not exactly pumped about their play either. Very curious to see how they respond to getting called out by coach last night. Hopefully it woke them up and we see the results. Go C's.

It's early not concerned yet but anyone else a Lil disappointed by Ime's coaching I was expecting a bit more logic

I was expecting more fire from the players, but the team follows their leaders on court. I'm looking at you Smart, the "heart and soul" of the team. I am more disappointed in him than any other player or coach. He seems to take the first three quarters off on defense every game, and his scoring is his worse season clip yet. I'm willing to give it a few more games, but I'm about to start campaigning for moving Smart to the bench.

Why only look at Smart and not Tatum, Brown or Horford? None of them are leaders on this team? Remember, being a leader isn't just verbal, yelling, hooting, hollering, and get the guys going rah rah. It's also leading by example with your play on the court.

IMO all 4 of them (Smart, Al, Brown, Tatum) should be considered the leaders on this team. The 4 of them need to be it consistently, every quarter. Every game. They need to be in sync with each other as well as in sync with the rest of their teammates.

I appreciate his grit in trying to play while fighting an illness, but we have plenty of depth right now so why not just let him rest until he is back to 100%?

a ton of haters in this group, and Cobra is always the fallguy. How the F is harrel dropping 20+ on us, cmon man! this group needs to show some heart, it's obviously early, but troubling signs for sure

Harrell had 25/13/5 against the Hawks last night and the Wiz beat them even more convincingly than they beat us.

I was wondering if Trez would even give a bleep once he ended up on the Wizards but he's been playing like Moses Malone to start the season.

I look at Smart because he is called "The Heart and Soul" of the team. He also asked to be the starting PG, with the ball in his hands to set the tone for the team.

This could be the opportunity for Udoka to permanently put Smart back on a bench role.

1) 5 games is way too small of a sample size to draw any meaninfgul conslusiuons from
2) Out of the players you listed, Smart has been the best defender (Al also in the conversation but he's missed 2 games)
