4th game in 6 days, I know it’s the Rockets but still…. Just get the W I don’t care how messy it is.

Rockets are awful, have to win against the worst team in the NBA. Not just win, blow them out , so the young guys get some needed minutes...

Celtics have a chance at a 20-game win streak if they don't lose their next 18 games.

I'd love to win comfortably for once but I'll take it however we get it

This is good ****. Hopefully we get everybody healthy for the next 9 games (next is BKN then 7 of 8 on the road incl. a West trip).

We could have easily won 9 out of our last 10 games without the multiple double digit choke jobs. We have been actually very good recently. Let's keep it up

That win against the Lakers was pretty comfortable

I'd like to put in a little appreciation note for Grant Williams. He's thrived this year after a bit of a lost season. 51/43/88 shooting on decent volumes with good, stout D at PF. And still only 23. He's basically what Brad always wanted Semi to be.

Trap game, don’t underestimate them

The Rockets have lost 14 straight by an average of 13.4 points. Worst offensive rating and worst net rating in the league. Turnover-prone. Somehow shoots worse than us. It would be a step back to lose to these dumdums. Just be ready to grab rebounds and go. A lot of bricks are going to be thrown.

Fun Marcus Smart Stat: The Celtics have a team-high 56.7% true shooting percentage when Smart is ON the floor. They have a team-worst 51.0% TS% when he steps OFF the court. Team's offensive rating plummets from 110.5 to 95.4 when he hits the bench, biggest dropoff on the team.

I don't get it either. I was constantly told that Smart is bad for our offense.

My God I had no idea the Rockets were this bad!!!

I desperately want to see Jaylen Brown back on this team as we have 0 bench so we can use all the help we could get to actually put Smart on the bench and have 2 good players (him and JRich or don't even get me started with one of them starting and having either Horford or Timelord come off the bench instead) coming off it lol.

I also think we badly need to continue to play Pritchard and find some minutes for Kanter all at the expense of things like Grant Williams but that's future days stuff. I fully believe in a Pritchard, Smart/JRich, Kanter being good enough at least to find some offense against second units and hold the line. Kanter is a bucket and Smart loves to be the centerpiece of the offense so we'd post up either of them every play and have things happen.

But against 1-15... maybe caution is the better part of valor and we should hold out Brown and TimeLord this game and bring them back in a couple days against the Nets.

Egh. I really dislike Schroder to the bench. Guy brings great energy and pace to the offense. I really hope this iso crap doesn't come back with JB and Rob back.
