At this point you have to. Anyone with one eye can see the duo of tatum and brown is not bringing us a championship. They are even struggling to bring us to a 500 record for f*** sake! I'm so over this. BLOW IT UP!

Even if they decide to blow it up and acquire picks, I have absolutely close to zero confidence in our scouting team to deliver and build a team from the ground up.

How much of this core does management need before doing something about it?
This is literal years at this point.

I'd rather do what we should have done all along which is play the kids, develop them, so we can know whether they're the answer. This gives us a strategy entering the draft and FA. If we're going to lose, at least get something out of it. Nothing is worse than losing and giving minutes to average vets and STILL not knowing what we have in the young players. And Smart HAS to go back to being 6th man. He's not a starting PG in this league. He just isn't.

I've tried to be patient this season after the changes Brad did in the summer, but this is just NOT working. The Ime experiment has failed and so has the core of this team. I understand not all leaders are vocal but Brown and Tatum's reaction in the last two losses when your coach is throwing you under the bus is just SOFT.
Blow this thing

Celtics lack talent it’s that simple. Celtics need a real point guard. Tatum and Brown shouldn’t be handling the ball as much as they do.
Tatum and Brown should be doing what Tommy Heinsohn always use to say about Paul Pierce. Get them in position so all they have to do is “A one dribble drive”.
In order to do that the Celtics need a legit point guard who teams are not going to just let shoot (Smart/Schroder).
That doesn’t mean I want Smart of the team, just don’t want him as the starting point guard.
Tatum and Brown have too much freedom in the offense. It’s hurting them and the Celtics

I am not done on the big three yet
Tatum
Brown
Timelord
possibly smart
but god the fits of everyone else is awful.
Only 2 guys on the team shoot the 3 above 40%
Josh Richardson
Grant Williams
The lineup of
Smart
Brown
Tatum
Horford
Timelord
gives NO spacing as you have 2 sub 30% three point shooter and a guy who cannot shoot at all.
I cannot see upgrading Marcus enough at this point in time without trading a JAY so we have to plan on that from a draft pick or from a trade for a young guy who hasnt had much of a chance.
Smart
Brown
??
Tatum
Timelord
That will win more games as long as the ?? is someone who spaces the floor.

Issue is where is this point guard?
How do we get them without trading a JAy or Timelord?
Brunson would be a great fit, cannot see how we nab him
Hali
Mitchell maybe
SGA
Murray
Brogdon (not itll offseason)
