Brad, if you have a RealGM burner account, please drop some hints what you'll do next. And is there a path to a title in say the next 3 years?

5 year 240 million for Beal?

SCrew That.

28, looking slower, not a great defender, shooting below 30% from 3,

Whoever gives Beal that contract will regret it for a decade.

If Beal came here, we wouldn't be paying him that. It would be less for us.

Yeah the Beal thing isn’t anything new, we all know that’s why he didn’t want to extend last summer.

And that’s not what it would be for the Celtics.

Beal thing isn’t news guys- like comedian said that’s why he didn’t extend already. At the end of the year he’s eligible for the 10 year vet contract.

It’s also cheaper for us and again not to be a dick or a broken record but it doesn’t matter if we think we should pay that or not.........if he is willing to come we will because Tatum wants him.

How much less per season?

I think its like 40 million X 4 years

We would need him to give a nice fat discount to want to play with Tatum.

Horford 27 million
RIchardson 11 million
Romeo 5 million

Would match the salaries

Does anybody know whether Jaylen's All-Star incentive is paid if he's an injury replacement? That could actually matter to our trade strategy, given that Durant seems like a starting lock who is however injured, and LaVine is injured as well.

Durant will almost definitely miss the game, Lavine should be back in plenty of time though, I’d think.

But I think Jaylen would get the money even as an injury replacement.

Beal's contract with Boston would come in at around 4 years 180 million. It depends on exactly where next year's cap comes in.

We know. I've just liked it less and less as time goes on, particularly with how bad of a shooter he's been this year

The thing I like about Beal's game is how he's always in attack mode and makes quick decisions with the ball. He's not just a jump shooter. He makes the right pass and attacks the rim and doesn't hold the ball while making decisions. That kind of play would be great for us.

If you can somehow add him while keeping both Jays, that's a massive win. But if you have to move Jaylen it's only a marginal upgrade imo. And my inner debate is... is a marginal upgrade worth all that money?

That’s nothing compared to The Comedians’ OnlyFans earnings. Wowee.

I don't think they'd move JB for him unless they were getting something else from Washington too.

Also FWIW, Matt Moore said this today:

Two sources told Action Network that Bradley Beal’s interest in being relocated has cooled even further. There was some thought that if the Wizards‘ season went sideways he might ask out, but the Wizards have stabilized after a hot start and big downturn. There’s a belief that Beal is focused on maximizing his next contract which is easiest in Washington.

Obviously sourced stuff about this can always be wrong (as we saw with Kyrie and Kemba the last few years) but Beal definitely wants the money. Only question is if Washington will move him or pay him
