If you can somehow add him while keeping both Jays, that's a massive win. But if you have to move Jaylen it's only a marginal upgrade imo. And my inner debate is... is a marginal upgrade worth all that money?
I don't think they'd move JB for him unless they were getting something else from Washington too.

There was some thought that if the Wizards‘ season went sideways he might ask out, but the Wizards have stabilized after a hot start and big downturn. There’s a belief that Beal is focused on maximizing his next contract which is easiest in Washington.
Obviously sourced stuff about this can always be wrong (as we saw with Kyrie and Kemba the last few years) but Beal definitely wants the money. Only question is if Washington will move him or pay him
