Tatum is hybrid initiator and finisher but yeah, there's no consistency on how our guys are being used. When they put the ball in Jaylen's hands in the 1st Q and he had early TOs, you knew it was gonna be a long night. Smart with two early fouls didn't help either.

EDIT: 43% usage rate in the 1Q. Everyone else was about half that or less.

An uninspiring and uninteresting group of Celtics starting from ownership, front office, coaching, players right down to the two way players. A .500 Celtics team that has nothing exciting going for them and are on a path to nowhere. Almost like the Pierce years before KG and Ray Allen, at least that group had some interesting young players.

Going to watch Begarin's game to warm up for this one. Their usual starting lineup is Begarin, two guards that have no clue how to run an offense and two bigs (one of which is good the other being Kyle O'Quinn) who can't make a shot past the midrange. But hey maybe mid season acquisition Toupane can nudge the stubborn coach towards a more modern playing style. Somehow that all feels vaguely familiar.

Nice to have a game tonight since the C's haven't played in a few days.

You all know by now that we like to save our energy for the second night of our back to back games.

This team doesn't deserve to play the Pelicans or Kings. We get a W against really bad teams and stay a treadmill team. All the owners care about is getting into that 6th-8th spot so that can make some of the playoff money. That's good enough for them now. Staying .500 doesn't get the fan base pissed enough, it just gets them bored with the team. No pressure on the ownership to do anything.

Are we buyers or sellers at the deadline? Neither when you are .500 and stay playing that way. Last thing I want this team to do is keep Schroder for another 2 months and have him walk for nothing. Also Richardson is solid but doesn't move the needle. Al has been bad over the last 4-6 weeks, probably because he has overplayed.

Ingram is out tonight for the Pels.

I wish I can pretend that that's a good thing for this team but it kinda hasn't been all year

I'll be catching this one on replay, which means I'll be watching it only if they win. Just can't take another dumbass "L" right now. I'll take a dumbass "W" though.
