After all the last second Luka heroics, I want nothing more than an old fashioned Boston beatdown on National TV. Losing this game, at this time of year, in front of KG is unthinkable IMO.
Let's FREAKIN GOOOO!!!!!

weeiirrrddd, ceremony should be before the game.
How much would it suck to lose a game then retire KG's number.

Hopefully Ray Allen isn't there. KG is moving on and good for his health doing so but this is about the franchise honoring a great which is an event that's not for someone who left that great for less money, a lesser role, and specifically to stop him from getting a chance at another ring with the franchise.

Hey yo, if you're in the US remember to change your clocks tonight. Don't want to be an hour late to the party.

Pretty sure we've gotten Luka'd at the buzzer in our last two games against Dallas. Would be cool to avoid that in this one. I think Dallas needs to get Tatum'd. Fair is fair.

Are you sure?
I got conflicting reports that it's Before the game.

I can't help being a little concerned that all the KG stuff is going to distract the Celtics from the Mavs game. Not to say I'm not pumped about the KG ceremony, but I think it would only be natural for the guys to lose a little bit of focus with so much else going on.

I hope Tatum is so laser focused on the matchup with Doncic that he could care less about his ”older brothers” and their ceremony.

I can’t believe Dallas has as good a record as they do and are winning at the same rate as Celtics with that abysmal roster. Not many players in history of NBA could win with that little talent around them the way Luka is doing it. Even Kobe in his prime could not, barely playing 0.500 basketball during years after Shaq and before Pao.

KG should be allowed to play 5-8 mins off the bench.

Ime should have Luka's buzzer beaters on repeat in the locker room, send Tatum any media he can find about Luka being better, then for good measure have KG give a pre game speech.

Even though it's a shot we all hate I would let KG shoot one of his long 2's where he's practically standing on the 3 point line. And I would kill to see the guy smash his head on the padding of the basket one more time.

Just occurred to me I don't really know how/where I can watch the KG ceremony. I watch games on League Pass and it will likely cut off when the game ends like it always does. Is it going to be televised or streamed somewhere else that I can watch without having NBCSBoston? I'm not in the Boston area.
Edit: this game is actually on ABC so I'll be watching it there, not on LP. Hopefully ABC shows the ceremony but who knows.

Not that the Celtics haven't had good guards over the years but look the front court players who have been here. Good lord.
Pierce, KG, Bird, McHale, Parish, Hondo, Cowens, Heinsohn and of course Russell.
Craziest part is the new kid on the block is gonna give a lot of these guys a run for their money.
If you were gonna make an all time team some of those guys aren't going to see any playing time and Pierce gets slid to the 2 to make room for his talented front court mates.

Tatum is going to hit the game winner and then point to KG and scream, "ANYTHING'S POSSIBLLLLLLLLLLLLE!!!".

The Celtics are 18-2 in games Smart played in since I thought he was gonna get traded lol.
All this team needed was Smart's love.
