I never knew that the Barney song was to the melody of Yankee Doodle Dandy.

Not coincidentally, I've never had kids.

Banned temporarily for, among other sins, being "Extremely Deviant".

Not expecting to win this one. I think horford and rob will be out. Tough task.

I come in peace C's fans...but the season turnaround that y'all have had is remarkable. The C's are scary again with stingy defense, and some guys that can absolutely break down opposing defenses. I would not want to face y'all in the playoffs.

Jaylen Brown is one of my favourite people in the league.

I expect a dog fight tonight (even with y'all on a back to back). This game is hella important for the Raptors.

Flynn OUT, Trent Jr. QUESTIONABLE for Raps. Cs have yet to submit their injury report. Keep this competitive, whoever's playing. If Tatum's alright, I think he should play. Cs just had a 3-game break. They can rest him towards end of season, if need be. Still hoping against hope Horford made the trip.

If we're gonna play a team without our centers, the Raps are as good a team as you could ask for, given they really don't have centers either.

Now I am really concerned. RW naturally scares me. He is too good to not have for any period. But even Horford. Horford missing 2 HUGE games can't be about attending a wedding?? Can it?? I get missing one game.

Meanwhile Theis, should start. Hopefully he doesn't get dumb fouls early. Grant will probably play some center. Do we need/expect Kornet to get any minutes??

Do we play some small ball?

I don't want to lose first place. Do whatever we have to do.. But damn.. having 2 really good players out who play the same position is just so hard to overcome.
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

G Will about to get the start or Theis?! I like our chances , but you know the Raps really want this one. Going to be a dogfight for sure....... If we matchup with the Raps in rd 1, C's in 5! boom

If HorfLord is out, start both Theis and Grant alongside Jays and Smart. Stagger Theis's minutes alongside Tatum. Play Kornet 5 minutes in the 1st half just to see if he can give us anything. Hauser should also get some minutes as a spacing 4. Defense gonna suffer anyway without our 2 starting bigs. Have enough shooting/scoring at all times.

I think this is a matter of just not rushing back to the court after a wedding, and giving him a day off.

I'm thinking we're going to punt on this one and hold out Tatum/Brown in addition to Horford/Williams, which is why they were listed as probable before MIN. I'm hoping the team is playing up William's knee so they don't get any flack for holding out 4 key players in TOR.

It is a meniscus tear lol.

At least 4 weeks, and could be much longer.

should Boston consider "holding out the Js".. perhaps. But I would be shocked If Ime/Boston would do this.

Celtics and Raptors have been two of the hottest teams in 2022.
If I'm not mistaken Celtics are something like 15-1 against teams above .500 in their last 16? (I could be off so correct me I'm wrong)
But the Raptors haven't done so bad against tough opposition as well and are 14-3 against teams above .500 in the last 17.
Majority of those wins came on the road against the likes of 76ers, Suns, Nuggets, Timberwolves, & Clippers (all while missing key players like FVV, OG, and recently Trent).

With that being said, I view the Celtics as contenders this season. They're playing AMAZING basketball on both ends of the floor.
Raptors shouldn't be taken lightly either. They're a legit dark horse in the Eastern Conference and will be a tough out for any of the top 4 teams in the East. (I'd personally favorite the Raptors over the Heat).
