The only other center to make 5+ threes in a game in Celtics postseason history was Raef LaFrentz. So Al Horford just joined elite company.

Love watching the old timers turn back the clock. That nostalgic feeling I get watching is like a warm blanket. Reminded me of McHale's 30pt playoff game game 2 against the Hornets in his last season (although they lost). I remember thinking at the time that McHale used up just about everything he had left in the tank. Thanks for the throwback vibes Al!

Crazy thing is that the C’s still haven’t played their best, fully healthy team ball yet.

Won a game without Smart and another without Timelord.

Looking forward to see how this team responds now at home with a full roster.

I didn't think it was quiet at all. His defense was really great all game. But I know what you mean, it wasn't flashy. He just does a lot of things well. He is actually a lot better scorer than what he has shown so far in Boston. That shot is going to come around.
He also had a strong game 3.

You are correct, sir.

Jaylen had a huge one also when we were down 11. Shot it over Jrue from the corner. I think it was maybe 1 or 2 possessions before the 5th foul. Mega shot.

Yeah I think Jaylen's play was underrated this game. Made more than a couple timely scores. I just wish he could provide SOME defense when on the Freaken Greek. Understandably it's a tall order but most times it's like he isn't even there. Even Pritchard give Giannis some physical play when switched onto him.

Our defense is INSANE lol.

I think maybe Giannis being such a marvel to watch because he has so many fantastic individual plays throughout the game can sometimes hide how many of those shots he's missing.

He for sure takes some questionable shot. Every time he takes a jump shop I breathe a sigh of relief. Especially his 3 point bricks.

I can understand if the ball is swung to him behind the 3 point line in the flow of the game. He needs to take them every now and then. But most of his 3s are him taking the ball up court and walking into a 3. Just stupid. I imagine it's because he's tired - but let someone else shoot then.

Smart had 15 potential assists and only 3 turnovers, Tatum had 13 potential assists, and only 2 turnovers.

Against that type of defense, who thrives on forcing turnovers, them taking care of the ball was huge.

Thank you. When you are having your worst game of playoffs shooting 0-6 and still a team leading +22 … you are doing somethimg very right.

I think the team and Ime were intentionally passing up shots in the paint to get open 3s early in the series. Last 2 games, especially in 3rd quarter they are back to attacking the rim with force. White will always be a trick or treat shooter, mostly treat, but his ability to finish at the rim was a difference maker for us when he arrived.

I think we are going to see some more 3 PG small ball in game 5.

An underrated aspect of this late season run behind all of this stellar play has been this bench mob hype.

Matt Ryan fitts doogie hauser kornet and the rest, they’ve been unconscious on the bench and I’m not even being facetious.

Of course its Horford.

But I want a honorable mention as I wished for a win when I blew out the candles on the old BDay cake.

Also, Win the next 2 boston.

Also Also.

4th quarter the Celtics played like men, finally, this series they were cowering, wanting refs to help (which they WILL NOT)
It is like they said **** this ****, rolled up sleeves and put in WORK>

Jaylen's giving up around 4 inches of height plus 4 inches of reach. And he's not built like a tank to just bang with Giannis. He's doing the best he can with the tools that he's got.

Celtics would have never traded Horford back if Danny was in charge because there's no way in hell he would have given up a draft pick.

For sure, it seems lazy. Poor game plan, not knowing what you want to do with the ball, what shots you want etc etc. It's like the plan is just let give it to him and let him try to score so however he feels like at the time is what happens.

Forgive my lateness...

4 down. 12 to go!

16 = 18.
