Looking like no Middleton according to windy we’ll see if rob can play.
It’s gonna come down to us if we play good we’ll roll if we’re meh then it’ll be a slug fest.

The Bucks are kinda our big brothers, getting over this hump is the hardest thing to do, if we win this, we go all the way.

I don't care about the result. As long as we win.

I'm still beyond disappointed that it's come to this but still thankful for the opportunity. I can finally fully forgive and move on from our ugly choke jobs in this series if we win game 7. All will be forgiven. Make it happen.

Even down Middleton the Bucks are defending champs. Celtics have to be the better team for sixth time in 7 games to win this series. Even if they bring their A-game the Bucks have Giannis who is good for 40/15. This will come down to final 30 seconds and I am prepared for both an exhilarating win or a crushing loss. I am okay with that. This series has been the best basketball we have seen since 2010 Celtics-Cavs. It reminds me the most of the 1981 Celtics-Sixers - which is still the second greatest 7 game series I’ve ever seen (1984 finals being the best). We gotta do this!

Game 7! Let's hope that Jayson "Voorhees" Tatum gives us another gem like his Friday the 13th performance. Is it too much to ask for a 50-piece from him tonight? If not him, maybe Jaylen can bring his own explosion as well

I think you are severely underestimating how good the bucks are even without Middleton...they likely get to the finals easy without him.
They are a battle tested team with a generational all time top 10 potential talent. We are led by 24 &25 year olds & a 36 yr old playing unreal running on fumes. Championship runs are never ever easy. This isn’t a choke job apart from game 5- this is 2 really good team giving us their all as we beat the **** out of each other.

My biggest worries about this game:
1. The road teams have played better in this series.
2. Bucks and Celts have been trading punches and wins all series. Will the trend continue?
3. Afternoon game again. Celtics don't play well in afternoon games.
Hoping for the best for our Celtics though. Go C's!

Re: NBA Playoffs – Rnd 2, Gm 7: Bucks (3) @ Celtics (3) – 3:30PM, Sun, May 13, 2022
Ime must be sounding like a broken record by now with these points of emphasis:
• Keep the Bucks in the half-court -- no dumb shots, limit live turnovers, stop whining to the refs, run back!
Bucks are scoring 18.7 fastbreak points in their wins, just 11.3 points in losses. In a series this close, every point counts, every possession matters, and every mistake is costly. Ex. Tatum complained again in the 4th last night and didn't run back. Matthews made the three that would've cut the lead down to 4, but thankfully White fouled Giannis as he made the pass.
• Clear the defensive boards -- box out and have the wings help out with rebounding. Defensive possession doesn't end until you have the ball.
Bucks have 16.7 second chance points in wins, just 11.0 in losses.
• Do the little things -- dive for loose balls, set good screens, cut to open spaces to make yourself or a teammate open, box out, communicate on defense, etc. The little things might end up winning you game 7 in an even matchup like this.
By now, I'm confident about our half-court defense despite Giannis plowing through people. Shots are make-or-miss. But if you do the above consistently enough, you give yourselves a chance to win at the end. Then it's down to late-game execution and poise. But I'd rather we have a 20-pt lead heading to the 4th lol. Channel the 2008 Cs title-clinching game pls.

Yeah, this isn't about the bucks not being good or as good as I thought. It's the fact we have been the better team in 5 of the 6 games and yet it's going to game 7.
If you want to be extremely generous then at WORST we should have won in 6 already because we have DEFINITELY been the better team in 4 out of the 6. I would argue we should have won in 5 but I'll give you game 3 I guess. This is going by how the games unfolded not how good the teams are on paper. IMO, the bucks have only been better in 1 game in the series so far. That is why I'm disappointed it's coming down to a 1 game winner take all. Glad it's at home though.

Is it too much to ask for Grant and PP to show up for once? Would love everyone who steps up on the court on Sunday to contribute and play like it’s their last game. For the longest time in game 6 it was all Tatum, smart, and white before Brown came in and helped. Can’t have that in game 7. Everybody has to be ready to go from the jump. Giannis can get his again fine, but you must absolutely clamp down the rest of their players like we did in game 6. Don’t want another repeat of game 5 where the whole team goes bananas in the 4th. It would be extremely disappointing to go 1-3 in the building that has the loudest fans. Game 7 is where legends are made. Let’s get ittttttt!!!

So tired of the talking heads saying how much the Buck miss Middleton. I've never been that impressed with him and we have had to play the Greek freak without their best interior defender.

I still think you start Grant so that he can match up w/ Giannis more. It also lets Smart - Brown - Tatum do more ball handling to start the game and then you can have White handle when one of them needs to sit. But this goes to show how good White has been.

I see games that are so close with both teams having a small margin of error. We choked game 5- the bucks took game 3 and earned that win. This had 7 games written all over since game 2 Imo.
