Butler in his presser last night was not down in the dumps or anything but he didn't really act as confident as I expected him to.

They asked about Games 3 and 4 in Boston and he said, "the way I look at it, it can't get any worse."

I watched that presser too. IMO his words said one thing and his non-verbal communication said something different -- which was satisfying

Having said that, and while I'm convinced that the Celtics will win this series one way or the other, this won't be a walk in the park.

2012 hurt but we weren't the better team if we are being honest. The fact we came that close to winning is just credit to those guys. Real champions there....2020...I feel we were the better team but it was the bubble and we had kemba who they just abused the hell out of. This time......No excuses, none. I agree with you. If we lose this series it will be because tatum broke his leg and then brown got covid the day after.

If you don't turn over the ball against the Heat then you win. They get a lot of their points in transition so taking care of the ball is huge. One thing I like about this series is the Celtics don't have to play any early games.

It's fine to feel cocky and overconfident as a fan. Our players and coaches aren't. They won't underestimate Miami like we do. They know the task at hand, moments of slipups notwithstanding. Echoing what Ime said, it's really good to have our vets back. That 3rd Q might not have happened if we had Horford and Smart on the floor.

hmmmm I remember a not so long ago game 5 where we believed we were unbeatable in the 4th quarter....this is exactly the kind of game where we turn around and give homecourt right back because we're too high off the last win.

When this Miami team gets hot, they can put up ALOT of points really quick. There are also well coached and will make sound adjustments by tomorrow.

We SHOULD win...but who the heck knows!
