It's clear now that we are the better and more talented team, but I hope the players themselves don't think this. Game 2 was just one game. They better expect the Heat to come out with renewed intensity tomorrow.

What can the Heat do, though? Seems like they threw a lot of different defenses at the Celtics in Game 2, and it just didn't matter. Maybe it's because the C's were already up so big that it ultimately didn't matter, but it'll be interesting to see what Spo cooks up against us. Hopefully Ime and the guys will be even more prepared.

Btw, caught a glimpse of the Mavs/GSW game and the defense has absolutely no resemblance to the stuff we've seen vs MIL and MIA. However, it seems they play more offensively oriented b-ball. Dallas may be able to win a game or two(maybe even 2 at home).

You're right about that, hard work trumps talent sometimes. Perfect example is the bubble series, where we were still more talented than the Heat on paper, but they just outworked and out-clutched us. Could happen again, but I think our guys are more mature and experienced now to not let it happen.

But we all know how that series ended.

Heat were more talented but Celtics had veteran edge. With backs to the wall, the Heat just stepped it up and took the series. I think our team is talented enough to do the same. That said, the 2008 Celtics were taken to 7 games by 8th seeded Hawks. Anything can happen but I feel confident this team can win any game against the Heat as long as they play to their capabilities and with maximum effort.

Maybe someone else could verify but we were 7-1 in matinee games prior to the two losses to the Bucks in the last series. Only loss was via the gamewinner by Dinwiddie.
