Why ? You do realize that say PJ Tucker also washed out of the league when he was young and that didn't stop him from being a big contributor to his teams later on. Guys can continue to work on their games and improve even if they aren't in the NBA. I'm serious about bringing him back if he's shown improved skills and ability. He's 6'8" with a 7'1" wingspan... only 1" shorter and same wingspan as Horford. He was always thought to have quick feet, and that should only be helped if he's slimmed down as he appears to have done. He's still only 26. His physical profile fits well in our scheme. We'd obviously be talking about a low risk flier here. No harm in taking a chance.

While his time with the Celtics was not so great, he clearly has made strides in his game. Enough that it is not outside the realm of possibility that he might find his way back to the NBA, perhaps even to the Celtics. If that proves to be the case I will gladly cheer for him. You wouldn't?
