The weirdest thing in that is the MVP who didn't make first-team, but the voter groups for the two awards were different in those days. Similarly, I think Russell had a couple years when he was MVP but not first-team, and one year when it was vice-versa.

Players voted for MVP until...err...some time in the 70s.
Media voted for all NBA.

Giannis is ahead of Tatum.

Durant, Kawhi and LeBron are threats in years that that they actually manage to stay healthy, if they ever do, although of the three probably only Kawhi has a chance of matching Tatum's defense in the future, the occasional crunch time or clutch game perhaps excepted.
