We match up so well with these chumps, they don't stand a chance.

Nevertheless I'm expecting them to be a lot more physical on Sunday so get ready for sluggish offense
One day Leon Powe and I were cracking up on Eddie House’s tattoo.…[Garnett] was like, ‘C’mon, Scal, it’s time to rock! What the ‘F’ are you doing?’ And I was like, ‘You know what? You’re right. It is time to rock.’ – Brian Scalabrine

Keep it close and I think they can break them.
Warriors could still beat us, but what I noticed is that it's tough for them to go Green/Looney, cause they both suck on offense, but it's even tougher to go small, cause imo both Brown and Tatum can abuse Curry/Klay/Poole. Klay either lost a step or is still taking time to go back to his old self. Dude looks slow as hell. Still can shoot lights out tho.
Good assessment:

Best thing about this situation is that we did a lot of things wrong in game 1 that can be reviewed on tape and would usually result in a loss. Sure they have improvement but we also have a lot of improvement in general.

We punched them in the face in game 1, let’s do it again game 2 for good measure.

Draymond and the Warriors just provided us with bulletin material. They think that the shooting was a fluke and they supposedly dominated us the entire game.

Take game 2 and snatch their souls.

Calculating that we might lose game 3 at home. This is a must win to get it to 2-0.

Stop me if you think you've read this one before, but we need to win game 2 too.

I'm afraid we will lose one of our home games.

Also let's hope we don't get Scott "the extender" Foster or Tony "Celtics hater" Brothers for game 2, though I'm pretty sure that would be the case.

Anybody have news on JT's shoulder? Might be why his shot is off like it's been in the Heat series.

I said it if we take game 1, we can win every game after because the pressure of winning 1 would be lifted. I think celtics in 6, but wouldn’t surprised if we win in 5.

Lol. Stop it with the excuses! It’s mostly mental with him than being injured. Like missing two consecutive free throws, or completely missing the rim from a 3pt shot. It’s mental. If he misses a few, it gets in his head. Just hope he bounce back next game, coz horford and white won’t have games like that again at the same time.

Read on Twitter

Number of players outside of opponent's top two guys who had multiple 20-point games: 1 (Bruce Brown - 2)
Number of players outside of Celtics' top two guys who had multiple 20-point games: 4 (Horford - 5, Smart - 5, White - 2, Grant - 2)

It helped that Middleton didn't play and Herro barely played, but for the most part, the Celtics have done a terrific job at limiting production from the opposing team's "others" -- guys like Portis, BroLo, Strus, Lowry, Seth Curry, etc. KD, Giannis, Jrue, Butler, Bam will get theirs but they're not getting consistent scoring from their supporting cast.

Cs have had multiple guys who have stepped up in different games, especially when opponents have keyed in and put extra pressure on Tatum and to a lesser extent Brown. We're no longer a top-heavy team relying on two guys iso-ing.

Tatum has been having way too many games like these for my liking, at least he passed the ball well but for a player of his caliber, its just not good enough.

I mean we’re up 1-0 in the finals, with him averaging 26/7/6 on a 58% TS in the playoffs. So it kinda does seem like it is good enough.

Bad shooting games happen, we were still +16 when he was in, and -4 when he sat. The fact that we won with him having a poor shooting game is only a good thing.

Since 1984, before Tatum last night, playoff teams were only 13-37 when a player takes at least 15 shots and makes less than 18% of them. MJ, Pierce, Westbrook, Dame, and Harden (2x) have all done it. In MJ, Harden, Westbrook, and Pierce's case, they got to the line even with their shooting struggle (at least 16 FTAs). We can't have another shooting dud from our ECF MVP. It's a low-percentage proposition lol.

EDIT: In terms of true shooting %, that was only Tatum's 5th worst career performance and 2nd worst in this playoff run (G3 vs MIL).

Series will be over if Celts win Game 2.

Size advantage of the Cs very obvious once the 3s were not falling for GSW.

Like what Steve Smith said on NBA TV, the Warriors will not grow taller in 48 hours.

Cs should maximize their size advantage.
