We didn't do it right! NBA Finals G2 Loss 6/5 (TIED 1-1)

Post#1 » by bisme37 » Mon Jun 6, 2022 2:39 am

I don't know if it was just me but I didn't particularly enjoy that 2nd half you guys lol. Two thumbs down, not recommended!

Clean up the turnovers, Celtics! And stop doing other assorted dumb stuff! Gah!

But I can't be mad about stealing homecourt and heading back to Boston tied 1-1. And I know the C's will look at film, clean up the mistakes and whoop some ass in the next one.

We got a series on our hands! It's the NBA Finals!!

Game 3 Wednesday! GO C'S!!!

Team should probably be down 0-2 If we're being honest. I shouldn't be that upset about this loss and should be happy they split. Unfortunately, I don't take much comfort in knowing they are home for the next two games because they're absolutely atrocious there.

I don't even have to name names because pretty much everybody was terrible for Boston. How many times are they going to turn the ball over? How many times are they going to let Looney have uncontested dunks? Brown once again started off hot and was completely non-existent the rest of the game.

I've completely resigned myself to the fact this team is just going to be atrocious an entire quarter the rest of the series however long it lasts.

Well-deserved loss (and, in a sense, expected too). That was u-g-l-y. Not that the Warriors needed any help, but we gifted them lots of TO's.

I don't get why Tatum, Brown and White took about 70% of the shots (not counting garbage time). Also, Horford looked SLOW.

On to the next game, we need to take #3 to keep this series under control.

Obviously content that they stole 1 in SF. No killer instinct, this team.

Horford, Smart and Rob had 2 points each.

That cannot happen again.

Game 3 is pivotal. Need to at least split at home to have a chance. We all know the way this team plays we aren't winning both so might as well go up 2-1 and take the pressure off then be down 1-2 facing a must win game 4. I think we got it though.

Lose by 1 or lose by 40, it's 1-1 either way. We're going home with a chance to take control of the series.

If this wasn't the finals Williams wouldn't even be playing. As for Horford and Smart hopefully not but green was 100% correct with his post game comments after game one.

The refs were bull, but this loss isn't on them. This team just cannot take care of the ball.

What an absolute embarrassment for a finals appearance.

Credit to GSW I suppose.

Those 3 guys took 37 of the first 44 shots.

Smart and horford played soft tonight. Can’t have that. Brown and Tatum can’t do everything.

We got a split, I’ll take it and leave the melt down to all the plastic posters.

Was hopeful, but didn’t expect a win but going out that way sucks so hard. Those turnovers were so bad. We need a PG
