Derrick was great, never argue with the refs, and run back on defense.

can't play theis when curry is out there, he backs off every time, shots are like layups for him. i want him out there as the lone big too, no grant. i think our lineups need to have no double bigs at all. it would be fine if it was pre-injury rob.

So Theis was pretty awful tonight all around but I don't know if we can say he dropped on Curry. This is what he did in the one three that Curry made on him.

He's way out there. It's just Curry has so much range.

Then on the Poole three, Theis also met him way out and played him fairly well all things considered.

I'm gonna own up to this. Missed the second half because of a client meeting, then it went downhill from there.

Protect homecourt and we got this. Warriors are not a good road team.

If they keep up their trend of not losing b2b games then they win the Finals. I would most likely dead by game 7 of a heart attack but let's hope they keep the trend going!

Smart, Horford and Brown decided to take a day off, but they didn't bother to tell Ime.

If Rob can't compete, play Theis more minutes.

Celtics were so careless with the ball in the first half and then didn't show up in the 3rd quarter for the 2nd straight game.

Props to Tatum. Only Celtic that played well.

Bird would personally call you soft, that’s for sure.

No Son,

Bird (an actual Leader) would say : "We played like a bunch of women tonight"

And everyone would follow his lead.

Tatum? Let me search Google and see what Kobe was wearing, this day in history.

Tatum is our best player. Smart and Horford are probably our best leaders.

This isn't on Tatum. He played well. Smart and Horford didn't show up.

Why are we even talking Bird and Tatum? I don't care who brought it up. That's not an even comparison. Just enjoy we have Tatum on our team.

My concern is the lack of championship experience really showed in Game 2.

Jaylen Brown in particular still hasn't learned his lesson.
He didn't turn the ball over a lot, but his shot selection was not good.
And JB still loves to drive into traffic only to find out he has nowhere to go and ends up putting other Celtic players in a bad spot to bail him out.

Why would your expect to win? They layed an egg . It sucks but it happens.

I would also had the refs helped out the Warriors a lot. White was called for traveling while still dribbling the ball. We wasn't carrying the ball, he was dribbling it normally.

GS is a really good team. Boston has to play great to beat them. They were careless in the 1st half and feel asleep in the 3rd quarter again.

GS 35- Celtics 14 in the 3rd. Celtics didn't have a miracle comeback in the 4th quarter, like they did in game 1.
Celtics are lucky to be going back home with the series 1-1. They need to play great in game 3 to get a W.

When our average/bad shooters (White, Smart, Horford) hit threes then we can beat anyone. If not, we can lose to most good, healthy teams. Tonight those guys missed AND Jaylen was atrocious. We aren't going to be beat the Warriors when that happens even with Klay shooting horribly and especially with TimeLord clearly gimped

I'm sure this is a hot take in here but Draymond didn't foul Jaylen on that three. Jaylen kicked his feet out. And then he acted like a fool afterwards. Not a good look. Hopefully homers aren't blaming the refs after this.

we had very little depth and Maxwell was injured (or also butthurt and quit according to Red) and that was a very loaded, maybe their best of all-time, Lakers team. I still remember watching that Memorial Day Massacre game. That was a fluke. Reminds me of how we shot last game versus the Warriors in the 4th quarter. The Lakers dominated the rest of the way except for a close two point loss in Game 5. It wasn't really close. Let's hope our last game's 4th quarter wasn't a fluke as well

I’m in the bay area watching the game in a bar with friends all warriors fans. Even they can’t deny some of the home cooking calls they were getting. But we didn’t lost because of the refs. Smart, Al and Rob playing awful lost us the game. Tatum with all those turnovers are just frustrating. I’m glad he got his 3 going, but he shouldn’t get the ball on top, and try to dribble his way inside. It’s just a turnover waiting to happen. He posted up some small guys and bailed them out by taking fade aways, instead of pounding them. Jaylen going cold after that hot start is mind boggling. Smart with several stupid passes to tatum early on. We could have gotten a big lead early on, but kept turning the ball over, and wiggins had several rebound putbacks over Rob and Al. Theis is just unplayable at this point.

Would be nice to actually protect homecourt for once. Outside of the nets series homecourt doesn't really feel like much of an advantage.

SuperDeluxe wrote:Well-deserved loss (and, in a sense, expected too). That was u-g-l-y. Not that the Warriors needed any help, but we gifted them lots of TO's.

I don't get why Tatum, Brown and White took about 70% of the shots (not counting garbage time). Also, Horford looked SLOW.

On to the next game, we need to take #3 to keep this series under control.

Awful TOs, unforced. Couldn't make the wide-open shots.

Yea, some touch fouls, too, but it wasn't the reason. We executed very, very poorly.

Celtics needed to play a perfect game to overcome the refs which was a tall order. If called fairly the Celtics are clearly the better team. I have no doubt Celtics win game 3. Then they bring in Scott Foster for Game 4.
