I literally don't see a path to winning this championship without winning this game. Frankly I don't even know if it's possible now given how they **** them self with all the way on the line last game.

I guess we're gonna see just how much they want it.

Excited to see how we respond.

Limit turnovers and offensive rebounds and we should be fine. There's no secrets here.. 4 games in we know what needs to be done to beat this team.

Really hope Tatum finds himself. As terrible as he's been, he's just one hot stretch away from making it all go away.

And box out Wiggins ffs.
WHAT THEY GON’ SAY NOW? ‎ THANK YOU TRUTH!

Our run of winning after defeats has to end eventually doesn’t it? In the words of The great Afam “It is what it is”

Edit: Will actually probably be a win and then game 6 chokejob at home. That would be typical.

I miss when we could rely on Jayson Tatum to play like a superstar

I think the pressure of being in the NBA Finals is starting to take its toll.

I agree. I think our only realistic path to winning it all is winning the next 2. I don't think we beat them in game 7. I've been very consistent with that. We turtle far too often and resort back to losing plays too frequently and they have steph and the experience and maturity. Tatum would be throwing his arms up at the refs all game hunting for foul calls.

I won't say if we win game 5 we win the series because I don't trust this team enough to say we won't drop game 6..... I'm saying I think we need game 5 to possibly win the series. If tatum plays another awful game in game 5 I might get banned for how much I'm gonna trash his ass. Enough is enough. If you wanna be called a superstar top 10 player you need to be able to muster up one single superstar like game on the biggest stage. I can't imagine butler or giannis not having any great games 4 games into the finals. We can't even get 1 from tatum. Game 5 needs to be that game.

I'm almost at the point where I'm not even asking for a superstar performance....How about you just not suck and contribute greatly to our loss with your turnovers? Give me 20 points on 43% shooting while taking care of the ball and playing good defense. Can you do that MR. 10 top player? GAWD. Mini rant over.

I for one would like the trend to continue until the end of this series. Wouldn't mind it at all.

Doesn't really look good for the Cs right now.

But if they win Game 5, I think the prediction of Celts in 6 will become a reality.

Game 5 is the biggest hurdle.

I had the Celtics in 6 too.

I'd feel a lot more comfortable with that if they won the games they are supposed to and not fall apart at home.

Someone gonna have a chance to win it in Boston. Be great if it was us.

Celtics aren't gonna win two series in a row with 3 wins in the road.

Road teams don't win game 7s in the finals all that often.

Game 7 is gonna happen. Just trying to be positive but i don't know if this board can make it to another game 7 in the finals to win the chip.

Tatum has to play better and have a game where he shoots well...this isn`t good enough...

Attack the basket more and finish at the rim.

On defense throw everything at Curry an pray he actually misses a shot, lol...

Ehhh... Cs in 6.

Or we trade Tatum for the rights to draft Bo Cruz as Stevens planned all along.

I dunno what to expect, I'm hopeful they come out with fire and more players contribute on offense.
Good assessment:

PLO wrote:Tatum played OK - took advantage of a few mismatches - decent on the defensive end. He is what we thought he was going into the season - a technically very proficient player operating close to his career ceiling as a rookie.

Oh and sidenote: I hope Tatum figures it out, he's shooting like .340 from the field in the Finals. No idea what happened, he's either hurt or just the stage, I have no idea.
Brown needs to bump up his shot attempts to 22-24. He's shooting the ball way better than Tatum.
