Why do we want GSW to lose?

So Jokic can have a chance to get out of the West

I like that Rui deal for the Lakers. A couple of seconds and Nunn is basically a free flier. I would not have been unhappy with us sending out a similar package for him. Would have fit the biggish wing need, in my view.

I would easily have sent out 2 second round picks for Rui.. But our 2nd rounders Not as valuable as the lakers who should have a better draft position for Washington.

RUI May not have reached his potential yet but I still believe he is a first round talent.

He does nothing that a contending team needs from a roleplayer wing. He can't defend, he can't attack the rim, he can't shoot, he can't pass. He'll score 10 ppg on poor efficiency if he's given shots due to no one else being out there. We don't need that though.

He becomes restricted next season.

Re-signing him would be an issue.

For the Lakers he's probably a huge upgrade over Toscano-Anderson or whatever they had out there.

He’s talented for sure and a huge upgrade to whatever trash the Lakers were playing at the 4. But now to re-sign to a deal this summer is highly questionable and give up 3 second rounders to do it

I've always followed that kind of stuff irrationally closely for some reason. I paraded the Jeff Green Memphis pick watch for years. Weird thing on the race for the bottom is how fast it can change. Crappy teams win so infrequently a tiny win streak totally changes the whole picture in a week. With Portland flailing, the dream of two top-40 picks is still afloat.

With all the discussion toward the Celtics and the terrific year they are having, the Bruins are clearly the most dominant team in Boston Sports for the 22/23 season. They are having one of the all time great years in the history of Boston Sports. Sadly, like the Celtics, their current core has a tendency to underperform in the Playoffs, but I am hoping both the Bruins and Celtics break through this year and become Champions.

I’m going to assume it was either the Pels or Thunder who offered up 3 picks for OG Anunoby. Makes sense.

Does this Celtics core under-perform in the playoffs?

Indeed they have, but maturity, Brogdon, whatever Deadline/Buy Out additions will hopefully get them over the top.

If it was one of those teams, problem is they probably faced the same problem we had years ago when we were stacked with picks. Teams ask for more cos they know you have it. And there is no way either of teams were offering the premium picks they have, they are too valuable for OG. And 4 1sts, even late, are too much for OG
