Celtics have won the last 5 games against the Nuggets and with an average of 14 points. Nuggets' last win vs Boston was 3 years ago on November 22, 2019. If I jinxed this, you can blame me.

Yeah not unexpected. Brogdon isn't gonna play more than 60 games. Just let him rest vs denver, detroit and okc. He can play vs atlanta next week wednesday

So what do we got; Al Horford OUT on 2nd night a B2B's, and Brogdon OUT for the 1st Night?
We have about 15 B2B's Total, this year. Just enough to get some good rest in.

Going to be tough with brogden out because he's probably been their second most consistent player all year.

Not surprised of course and he likely misses 20 or 25 games this year

The experiment of starting Grant has been questionably successful, overall, but the Nuggets are approximately the last team to change it against.

Extra excited for this game. I think the Nuggets are better than both the Cavs and Grizzlies. The one team we may not win against in a shootout. So I hope we’re ready to defend at a high level.

Horford likely rests in 2nd night of B2B against the Pistons tomorrow. So I expect an awesome game from him tonight. Maybe his first VC/CP of the early season.

I also expect to get frustrated by some BS shots from Murray, MPJ, KCP, and Hyland. Need to abuse the “defense” of their 2nd unit. Put DAJ in every action during his time on the floor. We outscore the Nuggets when Jokic is in, then this is very likely a win.

Per nba.com, Nuggets have the 2nd worst bench defensive rating just ahead of the Pistons while Cs have the 5th best bench offensive rating.

I’m also very hyped about this game. Derrick white should be a difference maker as he’s the ideal kind of player to guard Murray and hyland. Jokic will be a load without rob to back grant up but hopefully Tatum can use his length on the back line. Nuggets have been shooting lights out from 3 so this will be most likely a high variance game.

Grant tried to give himself Batman nickname after great defensive performance against Jokic. Curious to see if he can bother him again.

I don't know, small sample size (2 games) but I'm not feeling Grant in the starting lineup. He's been tentative on offense and foul prone on defense and seems to play more freely coming off the bench. All that being said, I would say he has to start tonight. With no Malcolm in the Middle, we need D. White as the 1st guard off the bench not P-Rabbit (as much as I love him).

We all know how undermanned the Nuggets were in the previous two seasons, so that losing streak is not a surprise and it's completely irrelevant.

Now, Murray and MPJ are still not at their 100% and Jokic has been cruisin' through the season so far, trying to get everyone returning or joining in this season in the groove, but this game is still pretty significant and might be quite a sign of things to come.
