Had a dream last night that the team acquired Embiid in the offseason for a deal around Brogs and Timelord and picks.

If JB leaves for FA, next major move would be to open up cap space for 2025 or 2026, around the time JT makes his own FA decision.

If he leaves in FA and we get nothing, for the 4th time in a row, I'm gonna be pissed. Brad absolutely cannot risk this. He's an All-Star. And while he won't make All-NBA here, he very well could in his next stop. Brad has to get something good for him.

The three “major” trades by Brad so far were relatively easy calls to make. Let’s see if he can do the big balls trades esp unpopular ones.

Where I vary from a lot of people is I don’t care about getting a superstar in return.
Gimme two or three good players and some picks. Only wrinkle is Jaylen being an expiring could limit the return, unless he whispers to that team that he’d re-up.

Get outta my mouth.
Been thinking and saying the same. As you said a while back, even though he's the 2nd most talented player on the team, his role within the team is potentially the easiest to replace. Package him with PP, or Grant, or God forbid, even Rob, and get a couple good players back and that would be just fine by me.

I keep thinking about Atlanta, or Minny. Portland is of course wishful thinking.

I guess the old-man set-shot is a stable shot platform that's less affected by late-game nerves.

Per CleaningtheGlass, the Celtics are now 39-0 when they register an above average offensive rating in a game. I don’t care to check but I’m pretty sure that’s best in the league. (Bucks lost two games in the 90th percentile in offensive rating.)

The Celtics have the best punch but seems like they got bored in throwing it in the regular season. For the most part i think theyve stepped up when needed but you also dont want to carry bad habits into the playoffs.

J Brown for J Butler. Butler will want out of Miami, would be the perfect side-kick for Tatum. Miam goers younger and Brown gets to be what he wants.. the lead role.
