What the what, you guys?? The unthinkable has happened and we lost a game to the Sixers! Pandemonium! Dogs and cats living together! Mass hysteria!!
I dunno lol. I'm half mad and half not. Mad because I hate losing to Philly and that was annoying at the end etc. But not mad because the game didn't really mean anything for us and we were shorthanded on the road and Joel went nuts... and we still made them sweat hard to squeak out a win haha. Whatever gah!!
Raps tomorrow, Go C's!

Oh no.
Nuggets with Jokic losing to the Rockets by 20 was crazy.

This would've been the steal of the century. The Sixers are expensive trash.
Happy for Embiid though, he finally got to beat the Celtics.

We got a meme-able image out of it. Not a total loss.

Loss isn’t a big deal. Still quite poor late game execution which is concerning. Game plan was to let Embiid play against cones and luckily for them Tucker won them the game pretty much.
I’m not wildly confident with our hot and cold offense and coaching in the playoffs but zero concerns about Philadelphia.

The only thing we learned tonight is what we already knew, Kornet should get 0 minutes guarding Embiid

That game was stupid in so many respects.
Hated how we played in parts. Hated how Joe coached in parts. No Brown or Timelord, so it is what it is, but still frustrating.

Even if he guarded him for the whole game and we are healthy, we’d still win.

Embiid was simply unstoppable tonight, did he even miss a midranger? And Tatum didn't have it again this game, but he played well defensively. With Brown playing we probably win this game.
It took a 52-point effort from Embiid and three PJ Tucker threes to beat us, and we still had a chance in the closing seconds. That said, facing Philly in the 2nd round is still a scary thought. Embiid just cemented his MVP win with this game.

I welcome Philly with open arms in the 2nd round.
Easy series.

I know it doesn't mean much but honestly I'm a little disappointed at the outcome.
Regardless this doesn't bode well for Philly. Embiid was in 2K mode and Boston was down two guys (and Boston missed ridiculous free throws this game) and Philly barely won.

This team always finds a way to let you down. It will be the same in the playoffs in due time.

I like our chances against philly when healthy. I’m much more worried against the Heat though.

Can't take much from that game. Felt like we had no business being in the game most of the night, then felt like we took control in the 4th before Tucker went off. The last minute or so was bizarre and probably couldn't be duplicated in 1000 attempts.
We should win the series, but Embiid is a special player. He'll probably be the MVP. Any time you have a player that good, you have a puncher's chance. I think the Spurs beat the Rockets 5-0 in the regular season in '95 before Hakeem had the defining Playoff series of his career to eliminate them.
