Jaylen Brown Thread

Post#1 » by MagicBagley18 » Fri Apr 7, 2023 10:04 pm

Last thread is down so I figured we could use a new one and hopefully the energy has shifted for this new discussion…..lots of positive feedback for Jaylen on all nba. Would be really surprised at this point if he doesn’t make it. Most podcasts have him there and nba radio seems to favor it when I listen to most discussions.

Peña had him 2nd team as mentioned which I think is high but 3 seems like a lock to me. Most media I hear seems to definitely have him on it. Huge implications for us moving forward. More importantly smart move by the c’s resting him because we need him for 18. Get healthy.

Yeah, these type of stories, put out by either players or sports teams, require a heavy dose of skepticism.
Jaylen waters his own plants?
Guy's wealthier than a whole gaggle of Rock Stars.
I can see Larry Bird watering his own plants, because he was noted for being so cheap,
but modern day players, usually have their peeps, hanger-ons or PAs for such tasks.

As I said,
Bird was ultra-parsimonious.
He was good Puritan stock.
Likely saved every nickel he made.
But things are different today...

How does one cut their hand bad enough to require stitches while just picking up shards/fragments of a broken flower vase? Maybe he held onto the floor for support while stooping over, and immediately shifted weight onto it without realizing there was a shard underneath that ended up digging into his palm/finger(s)?

So not only will the black mask not come off, but a sequined glove might even come on during the playoffs?

Hey Jaylen, how many stitches did you need?

Read on Twitter

Didn't Rondo break his hand once too cos he "slipped in the shower"?

JB with the sound advice a month ago, poor execution.

That's def not how he cut his hand. Right before the playoffs but 5 stitches is nothing really.

I have it on good authority that Jaylen was trying to force watering of three plants at the same time , causing the pitcher to turnover and shatter.

Very witty.
SamIam 2010: Truth's ability to play so incredibly efficiently is so UNDERAPPRECIATED. Bballcool 2012: Amazing how great Pierce has been for so long. Continues to defy age! KG 2013: P is original Celtic. Wherever he goes, we go. This is The Truth's house.
