This is awful. Condolences to the Budenholzer family. Everyone was flaming him for his coaching performance but it makes a lot more sense now.

Phoenix really worries me as a potential finals matchup should we make it.
On the flip side, if Denver knocks them out then I may need to have to start taking them real serious.

I prefer facing Phoenix.
Nuggets are just too unpredictable.

I’d agree. Feel good about matching up with KD. I love Aaron Gordon and i still wish it was him we got over Fournier from Orlando. He’s been so good for Denver, and I’d be worried they’d just have him crash every board.
Also the only other team that yeets threes with such reckless abandon

Yeah!
If the Cs got Aaron Gordon then the stretch 4 problem would've been solved.

Nuggets now have a 13-point lead in the 2nd qtr.
The Suns need more time playing together.
And no bench depth is hurting the Suns.

The Nuggets are way better than the Suns.

Had Nuggets coming out of the West. Sticking by that.

Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic are the modern day Stockton and Malone. They way those 2 can seamlessly weave between PnR to DHO to backdoor cut is unlike any duo in this league. When both are on, they're nearly impossible to stop.

So happy for Aaron Gordon. Been a fan of his since he came out of Arizona back in 2014. Nice to see him find a home in Denver and playing well in the playoffs.

Solid chance we would get waxed by Denver but hoping for the best

I’d rather face the nuggets than the suns. KD and Booker are more than capable of having big games. Plus i don’t want cp3 and booker having the chance to get a ring. Rather them lose early.

I think the Cs match up better against the Suns than Denver.
What are everyone's thoughts on the Lake Show though? If they somehow get past GSW/Kings, do they have a chance against Denver/Phoenix?

Yes, Lakers have a shot at beating the Suns or Nuggets.

The Celtics better make sure they get to the Finals then. Last thing we want is another title for LA.

KD had 7 TOs last night against a Denver team that isn’t known for their defense.

KD put up points, but much like he did against us last year had problems with TO’s. Way too soon to look ahead, but I’m not sure who I’d prefer out of that Den/Phx matchup. Suns bench is so bad though. If they can address it this off-season they could be faves in the West, but KD and CP3 will also be another year older.

Randle out for game 1. The heat should take this game.

That probably helps the Knicks tbh, he’s been playing hurt, and hurting them in the process.
